Good to attach a USB Device . While it would have been great for Samsung to include a USB port on the Galaxy Tab 10.1, this is a useful substitute. I keep it with my external battery backup and hopefully won't lose it too soon. It does work great for transferring files. I have the WiFi version of the tablet so don't always have internet connections going, or don't feel like taking the time to connect to share files with colleagues and this provides a great alternative.

Galaxy Tab 7 . This adapter does NOT work on the Galaxy Tab 7inch. I have a Verizon P1000 TAB and ordered it hoping it would work. The device/OS has to support USB host mode, and the P1000 will never get that upgraded version of Android. At least, from Verizon. Hope this helps someone or saves them some trouble. Excellent product for Tab 10.1 owners though!!

useful . It works perfectly, however I thought I could plug a portable hard drive or an external DVD drive. Anyway, this along a USB memory drive works just fine.
