Did exactly what I needed it to do... run fast !!! . Card installed and worked flawlessly on my Windows 7 64 bit desktop. What a huge difference it made displaying video across our network.
Highly recommend this, especially if you need a low profile card.

TRENDnet TEG-PCITXR . Needed a low profile gigabit card for desktop PC. The computer was given to my company by UPS with a thermal label printer. (no one actually buys desktop PC's anymore... towers at the very least). Since we've set it up to run on a LAN with multiple workstations I wanted to speed up the connection to our network. The onboard NIC was only 100Mb/s so I looked for a cheap gigabit NIC to get the job done. This does accomplish that and installing it on windows xp pro was not a problem.

Worked Fairly Well . Have a low profile Foxconn box running windows home server. Wanted to upgrade from the internal 100Mbs controller to a PCI 1000Mbs controller. This one fit in the box (which was the challenge) and so far performs reasonably well. It is about 3-4 times faster rather than the theoretical 10 times faster.
