The Perfect Tool for Optimum Placement of your Access Point . I have one of these and it allows me to put my access point in my attic. This location for the access point provides great wireless coverage of my house. This enables my access point to be in my attic where there is no power sockets available but I can run an Ethernet cable up there and using this it supplies the AP with power. This is very easy to use, just plug everything in the correct way. And yes there is documentation to help you connect everything correctly.

These Do Exactly What They Claim . I now have my wireless AP located in a better spot, nigh reachable from a power socket. These PoE adapters let me do it.The wireless AP I use is a D-Link DWL-900AP+ which requires 5V and 2.5Amp of power. These PoE adapters don't look like the picture Amazon has up now because they are a new revision that can handle more power for the new APs out there. This is a great option for extending the wireless range of your Wi-Fi network.

aggravation free! . Aggravation Free! just read the 1-2-step how to guide, connect and poof!, it works. just gotta get used to being this nice without a music player and being wired. i was just gonna try and use a dongle but this is painless and so much easier/better because i tried the other route, trust me from my experience.

Great Little USB Hub . Don't let its compact size fool you, this is a great little usb hub. I bought this as a gift for my non-techie mother which meant that I had to test it and get familiar with it before I wrapped it.

I have two larger, more expensive hubs at home and was very impressed by how well this little hub stacked up. The connection ports provided a nice snug fit for the usb cable and in spite of the small size and plastic casing I didn't feel like I had to carefully hold the case together when inserting and removing the cables. (The case on one of my larger hubs comes apart at the seams when I plug in a cable.) My old hubs are both 2.0 but seem to have issues with lag time. That's not a problem with the Targus PAUH210U. I tested all of the ports and found excellent response for mouse, keyboard and file access to an external hard drive.

The bottom line is that this is a great little hub for the price. I feel confident that my mother will find it both convenient and useful and with it's compact size and $5 price tag I can easily justify purchasing another of these hubs to throw in my briefcase.

Works as described! . I bought this as a hub for a PS3. So far it works just fine when all ports are used. Mine didn't come with an AC adapter, just the USB cable. In the instructions, it says the cable supplies the power to box. Two connections at 500mA each means this box gets 1 amp total power. I'm sure it works fine with any other computer, it's just that I only bought it for the PS3.

Great little USB hub! . This is definitely a good buy if you need to expand your USB ports. It's small, cheap, and allows for external power (although, mine did not come with the AC adapter required for that). Even without external power, it does well. I can charge my HTC Touch, Philips VOX 150, and Philips GoGear 4GB on it without external power. It also included a cable that allowed it to be connected to two computers. Not sure why you would need this, though.

Cheap and Good . So far its being a great buy, not only it is cheap but by using only the black connection i am able to connect various simpler devices with the device. Really recommend to buy.

Just what I needed! . Product is exact replacement for inside a CD/DVD burner. Tech support wanted $800.00 to repair, but this fixed it for just a few well spent dollars. Thanks

A great little convenience . If your desk is as crowded as mine, and the back of your computer as inaccessible, this is for you. This nifty little four-port hub drops into any unused 3.5 inch floppy drive bay on the front of your system and, viola, USB 2.0 available just for the plugging. As an added convenience, an LED glows green when connection is established. Four stars rather than two because it must connect through the computer enclosure and out again to one of the USB ports on the back of your machine, effectively robbing you of one of those. I would have given it five stars if it had had a motherboard connector. By the way, when they are talking high speed, they aren't kidding; the hub supports the fastest version of USB available.

Don't Buy . This does what it's suppose to do. It would be a better product if they offered it with a USB header for the motherboard rather than a cable coming out the back of the computer and taking up a USB port in the back. Also, they should include an adapter for use in a 5 1/4" bay.

Update: I tried to get this to work in my machine without any success. I think the unit was defective but it wasn't worth my time to send it back. Very cheaply made. I would not recommend this to anyone. I'd drop my review to 1 star if possible.

Great Expansion . Works great, was very easy to install and fit perfectly within my old floppy drive bay. I can't think of one complaint. Thanks for a great product.

Great Product . Can't be more simple. Plug it up, and it's ready to go. Very light in weight, I suggest using an adhesive sticky pad for mounting if it's not going to be mobile. I got it stuck to my tower, and it looks pretty cool. Cause cool people like us Amazon shoppers should only have the coolest products.

Cons Review

Beware of self-powered hub . I bought this a few months ago and it works great on things like flash drive and even plugging your Ipod or your PDA. But when it comes to power hungry devices, do NOT use this product because it will fail. I'll give you an example. I have the Magic Jack that plugs into your USB port. However, when I plug it in to this device, it doesn't work. I also have an external hard drive that cannot be plugged into this device. So basically, buy it at your own risk. Definitely know what you'll be plugging into this thing.

Poor quality unreliable . I bought 4 of these for all our computers about a year and a half ago. The last of them just gave up the ghost this morning, so I am posting this review. The others, incidentally, lasted anywhere from a matter of days to a few months.

It is clear they are poorly made. The male end of a peripheral USB devices is a loose fit in the female ports of the Frisby, and the ports themselves are too shallow to accept the full length of the male plug. However, just wiggling the plugs doesn't improve the contact, and all four of the ports fail at once--so I suspect it's an internal circuitry issue.

Whatever the reason, these hubs are amazingly unreliable. Stay away from them.

heh I loved it . its like you can't go wrong with Ethernet Cards... I have an old Pentium 75 that I like to toy around with... its running DOS with windows 3.1 and I wanted it to be part of the network... With this card I was worried I wasn't going to find DOS drivers for it but I did. That old Pentium 75 is part of the network and I love it.

Worked but... . It works although higher speed is desired...

The mini CD shipped with the product is not right one for the Windows version I selected. It took a lots of researches for me to finally figure out that I could download the software from RealTek which is not a very well supported site either. You have to be pretty good with computer stuff to work this one out.
