This review is from : 2210 ADSL2+ Residential Gateway
Fast and Easy . Less than 10 minutes to set up. It is a very small unit with big performance. It replaced my old ATT/Bell South Westell modem which was 10 years old. After a month it has been flawless. Boots up quick and have no evidence of overheating or running hot. At least no hotter than the old Westell. It increased speed on ATT DSL line 3 times for downloads and 2 times for uploads. Would definitely buy again; great product.
good DSL modem . I was replacing a similar, older modem that kept losing connection.
This new one works great, stays connected.
Good Stuff.
Thanks.
2210 ADSL2+ Residential Gateway Reviews
Excellent Perfomer . I needed to replace my speedstream 5100 modem that I have had for the last 9 years. After shopping around at Best Buy ($80.00) and some other retailers I contacted ATT and requested a list of compatible modems. This unit is inexpensive ($26.00) and performs without any problems. Definitely would recommend as a replacement unit. Thanx Amazon for coming through as usual.
2210 ADSL2+ Residential Gateway Opinions
Real Product . I was amazed AT & T Tech support was not aware at all about this product. It works great just need to follow instruction given with it. Otherwise ATT try to sell their product on higher cost. So I am happy with vendor & distributor.

Cons Review
Piece of junk! . I would say that my title pretty much makes my point, but I really hate this thing. I have been kicked off so many times with this junk. It gets too hot and drops my connection. I have taken it out of it's plastic case and it sits in front of a fan to keep it cool. Can't wait to buy something better. I am pretty sure I could find a rock outside that would work better than this thing.
Failed After Less Then 2 Years of Use . Received the Motorola 2210-02-1002 from AT&T (free after rebate) when singing up for DSL service less then two years ago. The modem became nearly un-usable and would stay connected less then 24 hours before failing, sometimes less. AT&T verified the my line was good and suggested the modem may be failing but was not 100% sure. It was past the 1 year warranty so it was time to find another. I picked up a Actiontec GT701D Universally Compatible ADSL Modem (Black). I've only been using it for a day but so far so good!

I'm told AT&T no longer use the Motorola 2210-02 units for new customers, I wonder why.
Defective . Not only was this product defective but I was not re-imbursed for the shipping cost to send back, thus losing money on a defective product.
