The Linksys WebView Managed switch allows you to expand your network securely. Configuration of the switch is secured using SSL for Web access. User control is secured using 802.1x security using a RADIUS authentication mechanism and can also be controlled using MAC filtering. Extensive QoS features makes the solution ideal for real-time applications like Voice and Video. The 4 priority queues together with the Weighted Round Robin and Strict Priority scheduling techniques facilitate efficient co-existence of real-time traffic with data traffic allowing them each to meet their QoS needs.

A great switch with only one drawback. . I've put this switch in service a couple of weeks ago and I'm quite pleased with all the electrical aspects. The WebView works just as I expected with no problems so far. Now for the drawback, get out your earplugs. Unfortunately this winning little box will drive you nuts if you have to be in the same room for more than a few minuets. Evan with the door closed it's difficult to concentrate in the next room for very long. If your situation doesn't call for working on site, or any where near it, it's a great switch.
Cisco SRW2024P 24-port Gigabit Switch - WebView/PoE Reviews
HW works great! Webview... eh . I like everything about this switch except webview and noise. I have a Cisco Catalyst 3750 which is quieter than this.

If you are looking for a budget switch that offers some of the features of a bigger switch, it's a nice choice.
If you need to make changes frequently, however, you better have a copy of MSIE around because that appears to be the only browser WebView 'likes'. There is a console port and you can telnet to it, but about the only control you have from those is enabling the overall mgmt features and selecting which VLAN you want the mgmt interface to be assigned to. Everything else must be done with WebView. Even though it's a GUI, if you are used to using other Cisco products and you are familiar with Cisco's VLAN and trunking concepts, this doesn't work like those.
My best experience has been when I set it and forget it, then it does exactly what I want and you hardly notice it -- it sits in the background and moves ethernet frames VERY FAST. Supports Cisco IP phones very well (I have a 7961 running off it) and has plenty of PoE for my needs. I would be interested in trying a PoE powered WAP, but that may be later.

Cons Review
AVOID THIS SWITCH . I have 13 of these that I'm responsible for. They are, at best, functional, and at worst extremely problematic. I have had webview interface issues with about half of them, at least 2 of the 13 have GBIC issues. And several of them need to be restarted at least once every 6 weeks to keep them operating at peak efficiency.

On the plus side, they're fast, they're cheap and they're POE seems to work quite well. They are relatively easy to use. But the problems I've had with them are so frustrating, I'll NEVER buy another Cisco small business switch again.
