Works with PC's not Macs . I have two printers with a USB 2.0 interface. I have a PC, and I just added a G5 Mac. I wanted a way of sharing the printers and not losing speed by having to go down to a USB 1.1 print server solution.
This would have worked great if I only had PC's in my environment. It doesn't work with Mac. However, the 2-port version of this product, does work with Mac (go figure). In case you want the ASIN for the 2-port version: B0002JUHS4.

4-Port USB Switch . The product works as advertised. I would have rather had a manual switch than a KVM style "scroll lock-scroll lock" key press to perform the switching. This device let me share a printer between multiple computers without setting up a complicated home network.

Product Description is Incorrect . Amazon's product description indicates that this switch will work with Macs, but it doesn't. Even the user manual says that it only works with PCs. So who gets the lone star -- Cables to Go, or Amazon?
