Solid construction works better than my old Netgear . My old Netgear would drop me down to 100Mbps sometimes, but not this one. I really like the solid construction of it, too.
UPDATE (1/22/11): found that port #4 is defective. Whatever is plugged into it loses connectivity when the cable is touched, even lightly. I still like this item, but a little disappointed in this issue.
