Siemens 4100B Modem . This computer modem is excellent for general system uses. I have a single HP Computer DSL High Speed signal network including Streaming capability from Netflix/ You Tube / Amazon.com; this unit & system work fine, giving me excellent HD movie reception on films where available, assisted by an E1000 Linksys Router I purchased new about 6 months ago; have had no problems with said network association use. I recommend this component for varied general Internet uses. I got the best price @ Amazon.com on the Siemens Modem available by comparison. This is my second 4100B ; the first one lasted six years. Thank you.

Great Modem for the price . This was the modem AT& T sent with their kit when I first got online in April of 2007. It has an On Off switch so you can turn it off if you want. It worked flawlessly from April 2007 until July 4, 2010. It acted up the weekend before, then this past weekend I couldn't get on the internet.
Had I known it was still available I would of bought another one. I ended up getting the Att Motorola 2201-22 model which I read is a piece of junk.
Oh well...we'll see how that new one works out.
