Works great but you might need an add-on . This product works very well, but for my laptop, I had to buy this adapter: Dvi Adapter Dvi-d Male To Dvi-i Female.
There are (at least) two different dvi connector types, dvi-i and dvi-d. My laptop has the wrong type for the cable that came with this switch. You can look at the connector on your computer and see the difference. If the connector for the monitor does not have the four extra pin ports around the flat pin, then you will need the adapter (check out the photo in the adapter mentioned above). The adapter makes everything work properly. I was concerned that the audio portion of the switch wouldn't work properly with the adapter, but it was no problem.
This switch also floated around on my desk after all the cables were attached. It just isn't heavy enough to stay in one place. I fixed that problem with a bit of hook-and-loop connector.
Other than those two issues, I would definitely recommend this product. It easily connects the two computers to one keyboard, mouse and digital monitor, and does so without any problems.

TRENDnet 2-Port DVI USB KVM Switch with Audio Kit TK-204UK Reviews
Almost good enough DVI USB KVM Switch . This product provides the capability of managing two computers with a single USB keyboard and mouse, and DVI monitor. It worked great for a few days, then the USB ports fouled up. I contacted the seller and very quickly got a replacement. It arrived with one USB port non-functional. 0 for 2, I decided to return all for a refund.
The light-weight plastic case made the box flop around a bit on the desktop with all the cables attached. Convenient USB ports on the front, but the monitor port ought to be on the back or end, not the front.
Nice try.

TRENDnet 2-Port DVI USB KVM Switch with Audio Kit TK-204UK Opinions
DVI-USB with Audio . This product works OK when both computers have DVI video ports and available USB ports for KB & mouse. I had no luck using a VGA-to-DVI adapter on one of the computers. The video signal did not pass through.

KVM use to have 2 computers with one monitor . Works very well. Switches between computers effortlessly and hooks up with no hitches. Wish it could get 5.1 sound with it but alas no can do...just stereo. Gaming sounds not as realistic in stereo but OK.
This product does exactly what I expected and needed . This product does exactly what I expected and needed. I needed to share a HD monitor / keyboard / mouse between 2 PCs and this product works flawlessly. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone.
TK-240UK . Excellent product, switches between a Vista Computer to a XP computer flawlessly using ScrLk twice. Would recommend to anyone with a digital monitor and USB mouse and keyboard. Will need to go to internet and update driver for Vista. Have used this brand with other units with no problems.
Cons Review
Problems with Radeon 8500. Poor tech support. . One of my computers uses an ATI All-In-Wonder Radeon 8500 DVI, which simply would not work with this KVM. I opened 2 helpdesk cases with Trendnet Technical Support. In the first case, they told me to go a download "generic drivers for Windows. Bye bye." and closed the case out. The 2nd case at least worked through swapping cables, ports, changing video modes, etc... before finally suggesting I toss my Radeon and get a different video card! Wrong answer. I'm tossing the KVM instead.
Lots of issues! . Right from the start I had problems with this product. The mouse was "buggy" on one of the computers but this problem I could deal with. Support's only suggestion was to unplug and replug everything, which did not correct the issue. The next issue on the unit was that red lines began to appear on my main display on both computers. After calling and talking to support they issued an RMA and replaced the unit. The second unit works much like the first, right out of the box one of the computers the mouse is "buggy". I can only assume the USB hub is defective or poor quality. Now the mouse is also having issues on the main #1 computer and the speed of the pointer is inconsistant. All USB / display problems are alleviated when I plug the devices directly into the computer bi-passing the KVM. Not very happy with this purchase!
Do NOT buy if planning to use two Macs . I originally chose to go with this product for the facts that it supported USB 2.0, higher resolutions, DVI cable compatibility with all cables (give the DVI-I ports and included cables), and the lower price than other options ... but unfortunately, I was extremely disappointed after connecting this KVM to my Mac Pro and a Gateway 24" monitor, only to have it flicker endlessly, even after multiple reboots of each.
I tried working with the TrendNet technical support team, who had me plugging in a Windows keyboard and doing a reset of the KVM switch, only to finally admit to me later that this was a known issue with some Apple machines. It's really frustrating to go through all of the run-around, wasting time, and now having to return a product, when it was a known potential issue all along. I will not buy any TrendNet products in the future, and cannot endorse this one.

Nice idea if it worked! . I have Win7 and WinXPpro computers to share my "microsoft wireless laser keyboard/mouse 6000 v2.0" and my nice 25" Dell falt screen monitor. My monitor is DVI and my keyboard/mouse are wireless, connecting to the same base which heretofore plugs into my computer in one USB slot. Works fine on both computers plugged in manually.
I should have expected problems out of the box, as many review complain about one problem or the other or that it develops problems within a couple months.
Setup is easy. One nit, the DVI cables they send you are ~3 feet long. So, if you are like me, my keyboard/mouse/monitor on one desk and my two workstations on the floor behind and to the side, this creates a "cannot reach" issue if you want easy access to the KVM.
Now, the big problem. Video is just fine. Switching between computers, shows both screens in brilliant resolution just as if the monitor was directly connected to each. But, no matter which system I connect to, my mouse/keyboard action is ALWAYS directed to computer #2!!!! Are you kidding me! How do you mess something like that up? If I switch the USB cable from computer #1 into the computer #2 slot on the KVM - then I now have keyboard/mouse control on computer #1. I have rebooted, reset, everything; keyboard/mouse action always goes to the computer connected to the KVM #2 slot!
Also, the HOT Keys for switching from computer to computer do not work.
Also, the installable software utility to manage hot keys etc does not work. In fact, it just does nothing and then fails and goes away. I only installed/tested it on XPpro.
So - without hot keys working, I now have to have the KVM within arms-reach in order to change computers, in addition to changing the keyboard/mouse cable - but only if I want to interact with the computer [sarcasm].
I logged a problem with their tech support web site; promised to get back to me in 1-2 business days. We shall see.
I imagine this little booger will be going back shortly, but I will wait to see if tech support can help. But based on other's comments on this device, I am not expecting much.
UPDATE: I got a respond from tech support within about 6 hours. It states that "wireless keyboard/mouse are not supported". Thanks sounds like a bunch of non-sense to me for 2 reasons:
a. Nothing on the box states this at all.
b. The keyboard and mouse are just wireless to the base, which then plugs into a USB connection to provide the support. So to whatever it is plugged into (e.g. computer or KVM), it should just look like a direct connection. It can't know that it is direct or wireless to the USB cord. No way. And, to further support my claim, it works fine on Computer #2 port on the KVM. The problem is (as all too often Tech support just gives some sort of BS answer) that all keyboard/mouse input goes to computer #2 port no matter which computer you have selected.
I am sending this back, downgrading my rating of this, mostly because the company puts out poor produces (just see all the reviews here and on other sites), and has very poor tech support.
I am going with the much more expensive (~$180) ATEN 4-Port USB 2.0 DVI KVMP Switch with Cables CS1764A (Black) which has nothing but 5-Star ratings. You get what you pay for.
