The Huawei E585 wireless modem sends out a Wi-Fi signal to give you internet connection whenever you need it. With your own mobile Wi-Fi connection, so you can connect different Wi-Fi enabled devices at once and get fast internet speeds with no wires, no hassles and no need for a Wi-Fi hotspot.
The E585 is really easy to use and fits in your pocket. Just turn on your wireless modem, switch on connection to the Three network, and select the Wi-Fi function. Then choose the Wi-Fi option on whichever device you're using. There's no need to load any software to get online using the Huawei E585. The wireless modem gives you download speeds of up to 7.2Mbps (megabits per second) and comes with a battery that lets you stay connected to the internet for up to 5 hours.
You can charge the E585 while you're using it and it comes with on-board software that starts each time you connect it to a PC or laptop using the USB cable. The software allows you to manage your Three account, send and receive text messages and change settings for your Wi-Fi connection.

Great Item but works on slow speed on Tmobile . This Item works great but because Tmobile USA uses a 1700/2100mhz frequency it will only work in EDGE (slow Speed) not 3G
It will work 3G in all carriers in the world except for Tmobile USA

Great Travel Companion. 5 STARS ALL THE WAY . I bought one of these in July and I am glad I did. This little gadget saved me the headache and expense of using the hotel's wifi. I recently took a five vacation in Dubai and had to try out my E585. I bought the SIM from ETISALAT and popped it in. Called up the E585's home page and configured this bad boy, password protect and all. To my surprise the configuration did not take too long. You have to know a thing or two about how these thing work to make it work. The phone company customer service suck so try not to ask them any question if you needed help. The broadband speed was great. I downloaded and did my updates with ease. I hooked up my wife's ipad and mine and did not see a drop in speed. I also had my laptop downloading files and it did what it was suppose to do. I had five devices hooked up at one time and updating all at the same time with out a hiccup.While traveling in a taxi we used it to check our email and bank accounts. My wife was surprised that she could do that on the go. At the Mall we used it to compare prices online witht he mall prices. This you should get if your plan on traveling. I say get one now and you won't regret it.I had my personal internet in my pocket and I did not have to ask anyone for their password.

Very nice and very handy . I heard about this device from a friend and it was perfect only that it run out of battery quickly but for me it's ok coz I do carry a mini USB charger all the time for my blackberry
