Wow I have my life back! . What an amazing difference this little device has made for me! My internal modem failed and I had to order a new computer. None of the new computers I was looking at had a dial-up modem. This reliable little gadget has allowed me to continue using the same Internet connection, I always have. It is faster and very reliable. I highly recommend it!

USB Data Fax Modem . I really liked this and the convenience of it. I used this for an external modem on a desktop for a dial-up connection. It was very easy to use and connect. I really like that you don't have to have it plugged into an electrical outlet, too. It doesn't get in the way and just plugs right into a USB port.

This is a good product ,I received it ,opened it up and installed the disk and set it up and not one problem did I encounter.I since then have over rode all my other internal modems with this particular usb modem and will order a few to have on hand.StarTech external modem is a life saver and I am pleased that I found it at Amazon.com.

Cons Review
"Fax Talk" software NOT included . Contrary to what is stated in the Amazon description and statements on Startech's net site and the box the modem came in, Fax Talk software is NOT included. Contacting Startech support on 3 occasions they finally said they would put the missing software up on their net site for me to download. A few hours later I received an email stating Fax Talk software is not included.
