Works Great As Portable HDD Adapter . I am using this to connect a Seagate Portable HDD to the Microsoft Sync module's USB2 port on a 2010 Ford F150. I am using a typical male Mini USB 5-pin to male USB-A cable to connect to the female Mini USB port that is recognized as USB2 on the Sync system. I looked for a cable that was terminated as male USB Mini 5-pin on one end and female USB-A on the other but I could not find such a cable anywhere. I would have preferred this arrangement so I could connect either a conventional thumbdrive or a portable HDD with the included short cable. I still plan to try another cable that is terminated as male USB Mini 5-pin on each end if I can find one that transmits data. Thus far I can only find such a cable as transmitting charging voltage only.

LOVE IT . This product is awesome, I use it to connect regular USB items to my tablet. I will recommend it to everyone I know.

Bought it as a gadget just in case . I bought this item just to have the adapter for my mp3 or someone else mp3.
Always happens that an mp3 or mp4 uses this mini usb port and you always have the NORMAL USB!!! and you are like damn!!! why!, but with this you can put the normal usb on one of the heads and you are able to connect any mini usb just having a normal USB! soo GREAT! even cameras have this connection. So i bought it just in case to avoid those problems.... as item looks cheap but stable, the price is nice and looks like the price... totally worth it!

Works as described . Bought this because my Legacy in-car DVD/CD player had a usb mini 5-pin connection on top of the face of it. This worked perfectly to allow me to plug in a thumb drive and watch movies and listen to music from my computer in the car. Worked just fine. Would recommend highly to anyone that can use it.

For me, I have a Lithium Ion cell phone backup battery charger (with solar panel). I lost my dongle for it. I wanted a replacement that wasn't too bulky, yet still provided an extension-connector to plug any and all USB device cables into. Viola!

unusual adapter . Exactly what I was looking for. Very difficult item to find Came quickly. Well made and very well priced.
Adapter review . Great little adapter, I use it with my Caanoo game console and an external battery charger, as the USB on the battery charger is a bit weak, and it adds a bit of bulk and weight.
MINI adapter . Can't say to much about this item, reason is it didnt work for what I intended it for, so I'm not saying it doesn't work just it didn't for me. Fast shipment though
