Works great . I plugged it in after installing the disk and it works fine. I had doubts whether it would be worth the money but I am glad I did not opt for a more expensive model. I'm using it on a Dell PC with windows xp.

Economical solution . I bought this wireless adapter for my now ancient Dell Inspiron 8100 when the Dell TrueMobile 1150 LAN card I was using just quit working. I plugged it in and with a minimum of finagling was online again in about 15 minutes. This adapter seems to work as well as the previous one did. It was an economical solution to keep my old computer useful!

Does what it says . Needed to add wireless access to an older XP Desktop. This little guy does the job admirably. Pretty easy to install.
Installer didn't work as expected but once installed works great! . I bought this for an old laptop I was trying to restore just to browse the Internet. Tried a CardBus device (since that's what it came with) and it turned out to be completely useless. So I bought this little guy. The laptop I installed it on isn't an IBM Dell so that could explain why the device's installer failed. But, I was able to install it in Windows XP by using Windows' built-in installer and browsing to the directory on the install disc to find the driver. Installed smoothly that way and it gets great reception, better than any other wireless device in the house, actually. And this particular laptop doesn't even have USB 2.0 but this little guy works just fine. Does everything I expected it to! Very satisfied with this product. I'm thinking of buying a couple more before they go out of stock. You really can't beat $2.00!
I would recommend getting at least a short USB extension cable as the device can be bent easily if not handled delicately.

does not connect . it will not, can not,completely refuses to, and seems utterly incapable of any thing approximating work as we understand the word.
