Cirago Mirco USB Bluetooth 3.0 Adapter Class 2 . This thing is fairly nice and gets some range. easy to setup, the software for 64bit Windows 7(which is probably the same used on 32 bit applications) worked fine and didn't really slow it down, at least I couldn't notice it. Once I plugged it up and installed I could get signals from cellphones from neighbors that lived in other buildings! I originally intended to use it with the Logitech playstation 3 keyboard as a htpc keyboard in Windows 7 64bit; I found it easiest to do this by first connecting the keyboard to a ps3 in order to retrieve the pin that you will later input when you since the devices. fine with vista 32 and xp with this adapter and keyboard combo. Don't bother with tech support, they don't answer haha.

Best BT Adapter Available! . I have been trying different adapters with no luck on my Windows 7 64-bit box. Then I found this Cirago Bluetooth 3.0 (really a 2.0 despite what it says) USB Micro Adapter. It installs quickly and works with all my Bluetooth headphones and my phone! I'm thrilled!
Here are some instructions to get you paired up with your headphones with a minimum of fuss.
To attach headphones (and other devices) to the Cirago Bluetooth 3.0 Dongle
on Windows 7 x64 (In my case it is Win7 x64 Enterprise)
Each step assumes the previous step is completed.
- Plug the dongle into an available USB port and wait for device to load (system may need to go to Windows Update)
- Run the CD and install the software
- Right-click (R-click) the BT icon in the system tray and click Open
- Turn on the Bluetooth on your headphones/phone/whatever and put into pairing mode.
(On the Motorola S9 and S9-HD, press and hold the power button until the blue light is solid blue. It
will come on and flash a bit then blank out for a few seconds before it comes back on solid. Just keep
holding that power button until it does!)
- In the software, press F5 to rescan for BT devices (your headphones/phone/whatever)
- When the device comes up, R-Click its MAC address next to its picture and click Update
(The Manufacturer/model of device will replace the MAC address next to its picture.)
- R-click the device and click Secure pair (Enter four zeros for the password unless yours is different.)
(A windows message should pop up near the system tray saying your device is now paired.)
- R-click the newly paired device and click Explore
- To the right of Listen to music, click the Connect button (or whatever service you are attaching)
- A dialog may pop up asking if you want to change the preferred audio device, click Yes (can choose to
not show again, if you want. Eventually you will want to as this dialog will pop up whenever you turn
your headphones on.)
- When the Sound dialog pops up, under the Playback Tab, highlight Bluetooth audio device and click OK.
(If you have several sets of headphones, like me, you only need to set the default once and whatever
headphones you use will become the default)
Now whenever you turn on your headphones, your speakers will silence and the sounds will go through whatever
headphones you have turned on. When you power down your headphones, the sound will automatically re-route
back to your speakers.
I have successfully paired my Creative SL3100 headphones, my Motorola S9 and Motorola S9-HD headphones. I can
use any of the 3 anytime I want. I just turn them on and the sound is routed to them automatically. When the
battery dies in one set of headphones, I just turn on another set and keep going. I find the SL3100's to be
the most comfortable and sound the best. But, the batteries only last about 4 hours. It's nice that this
Cirago dongle allows me to use it as the transmitter instead of the big one that came with the SL3100 that
plugs into the audio jack.
Addendum. My SL3100 do not always automatically switch the sound to them when I connect. (The others do it religiously.) When I want to use the SL3100's, I have to open the Bluetooth software, right click the headphones and Explore. Then I click the connect button. It will then keep working correctly until I use a different pair of headphones. BUT... with this dongle, I am actually able to use the music controls on the SL3100 headphones (to go to previous or next song) where I was not able to, even with the transmitter that came with them!) It's nice to get new functionality out of my old headphones!

Plugged into a system with Windows 7 x64 it works! But it is not Bluetooth 3.0 . Worked on first try after plugging into the PC. Just misleading with Bluetooth 3.0, else everything works like a charm.
The best bt module I've used to date... . Will keep this brief, module works as advertised.. Once you install the drivers, the bt adapter has a good UI and was able to connect bt stereo headphones and other devices with ease.. Worth the money...
What's not to like? . This device is small (so I can leave it plugged into my laptop all the time). It's Linux compatible (at least with kernel 3.0.0, but it's a simple chipset so it probably works with earlier kernels). It's cheap. And it works well.

Cheap small and does the job. . Not a lot to say. It works great with Windows 7 Home 64-bit and I haven't had any issues linking up to any of my blue tooth devices.
Cons Review
Worthless drivers/software . Since I use a Bluetooth keyboard and mouse, this was one of the first devices I setup on a fresh Win7 x64 install. I immediately downloaded the latest version of the driver/software from their website and plugged it in. It appeared to work, and other devices could even see the adapter, but it would not find any devices at all. I tried at least 4 different types of devices. All kinds of errors from the driver were present in the Event Log. Googling these errors turned up nothing. I tried all kinds of combinations of reinstalling, using third party Bluetooth drivers like BlueSoleil, and generic Bluetooth drivers from Windows update. Somehow it did finally "magically" work, though it would be impossible for me to reproduce. If/when it does work, it is reliable enough, but the Motorola Bluetooth software it requires is just crap in general. The Broadcom drivers are significantly more advanced and doesn't have an interface coded for Windows XP.
Liked it at first . When I purchased this product, it came with an installation disk that made everything work pronto.Other than a few Win7 glitches using my BT 620 jabra headphones while gaming and switching between speakers and the headphones (which when they sleep are a pain to reconnect), the device worked pretty flawlessly. Move forward 3 months, a bad hard drive and no packing material with a model number, and lack of the original installation disk (it's around here somewhere but possibly generically labelled), I find that there is no model number on the device, so when I go to Cirago's website to download the BT stack that I need, I find there are several models, though most of them share the same Toshiba stack, which BTW does not work. The motorola stack didn't work either. Recommendation, PUT THE ORIGINAL INSTALL CD inside your case because you will need it. Now I have a $30 ultra light paperweight until I get the time (waste the time) to get this working. In hindsight, I should have bought a name brand and paid more for the convenience later on.
