Carefully thought-out USB Hub . I have been using the Targus Hub for sometime and I feel that it is extremely useful because of its carefully thought out design - keeping one usb port located away from the other 3 ports. I have a USB device (phone card) that is very thick towards the USB connection and the isolated port in the 4-port system ideally accommodates the thick device while allowing me to use the other ports for regular devices.

Targus 4-port Hub . I like the design of the input cable, when not in use it wraps around the hub and stores nicely. I have only used it a couple of times, but it has worked fine so far. I like the spacing of the ports, you can actually plug 2 things in side by side.

Well-designed . As the other reviewer notes, this is a very well designed USB hub. Having one port seperate (at the end) from the other three (along the side) allows a large, bulky USB device to be accomodated without blocking room for the other three. The wrap-around cord is another useful feature, preventing dirt and dust (and spilled coffee!) from getting into the ports when not in use. And when fully extended, the cord gives you a fair bit of seperation from your computer, so you can move the hub well out of the way of your mouse, etc, and prevent your workspace becoming too cluttered.
In many ways, one USB hub is the same as every other. But these couple of clever design features set the Targus apart, and just give you that little bit of convenience that many USB decives lack. Recommended.
