Simple to use! . I'm speechless.

This device arrived in the mail today. I turned off the modem, plugged this sucker in, used the installation cd and just turned everything back on.

And it's working perfectly. I actually think my wireless speeds doubled over the old G adapter I ran over.

So far so good, I'll edit this review as time goes on with updates and if it has any performance issues but its been great these last hours.
Belkin Recertified Connect N150 Wireless N Router (F7D5301rw) Reviews
Basic works gets it done . This router powers my internet radio, macbook air, iPhone, xbox, ps3, roku and has no problemsinstallation was simple took less than 10 mins, it doesn't offer the advantages of some of the more advanced routers, but for what it is and what it does you can't do wrong with this router.I recommend checking it out and grabbing it. The speed is fast, the space is small, and it looks nice and sleekmore than worth it for the price!
Belkin Recertified Connect N150 Wireless N Router (F7D5301rw) Opinions
Worked well out of the box but longevity is the question . I've set up dozens and dozens of routers in my time and this unit was just as easy to set up as any. I skipped the installation CD and just used the browser-based setup to get up and running in no time. I seem to be getting decent internal network speeds and the internet seems to be chugging along as usual as well. However, the real question with these units is usually how long they'll last you, I'll report back should mine fail earlier than it ideally should...
Preloaded Key Works Nicely . This router is designed to be easy to set up. When I first unboxed it and saw that it came with a sticker with the preloaded security key I knew where Belkin was going with this. I have to say that it really was easy to set up. Easy is the word. I followed the directions and hooked it up to my DSL modem, entered the security key into Windows 7 and we were off to the races. No worries. As for it being a refurb'ed product- So far I haven't noticed any difference to it. It just works. I don't have any wireless N adapters - but all my G adapters works flawlessly.
OK for the price . This router works OK for the price. The range is not great but good enough for a spare which is why I bought it. It is defiantly better than no wireless at all. The big problem I had was with the software. When installed it locked up my computer big time. I deleted it and used an old Linksys program to get everything up and running. If you need a good router I would suggest the Netgear WNDR3700. It is expensive but worth it.
good replacement for Wireless G router . While it never provided the promised 2X speed of Wireless-G, it was at least 50% faster than the G router I replaced with it and seemed to provide better range. The set up was fairly easy and intuitive, no real hassles in setting the security features, and never had any issues with signal drops in my three level residence For the price, this re-certified unit is a good bargain. Overall, an inexpensive and effective way to replace any G routers one has been using.
Belkin N150 router is "ok" . The price of this router is very hard to beat. I was amazed at it price actually. My previous DLink router was requiring a reset almost daily, so I decided to give this one a try. Setup was similar and not all that complicated, and it seemed to work okay for a day or two. Unfortunately, I did have to reset this one occasionally too. I should clarify that our household has five computers that are online almost full time, three laptops that use the WiFi intermittently, one WiFi enabled Kindle, two WiFi enable Android phones, and on Thursdays we even have a "club" of authors meet here adding probably 6 or 7 laptops to the WiFi load for a few hours. Most of the time these devices all work great, so I suspect I can't complain about having to occasionally reset the router. My next step is to get a signal conditioner for the power to this router, as I've learned that noisy lines can cause just about any router to need resetting. All in all, this low-priced router is a good buy, and you'll most likely not have to reset it like I've had to do.
Slightly better than previous Belkin router I've had but setup is annoying . I have had quite a few routers in my time and have never been a fan of Belkin. The one I had previously was very hard to set up and it took a lot of work just to put in a WPA2 security code. So of course, I was a little bit weary when getting this.

Prior to the Belkin N150, I was using a Netgear router that would constantly interrupt my PS3 streaming capabilities. It was also slow and I was just ready to be done with that one.

Now, for the setup of the N150, this is the first router I've remember owning that I had to install the Belkin software just for the router to work. Most routers just requires you to plug in the cables and it would start working. I found that a big no no as I want it to work right out of the box and not have to install anything extra on my computer. The configuration of the security was easy enough and I would suggest that once you install the software and the Belkin is working, you should uninstall it. The software itself is not really good and it cannot figure out that one of my desktops I connect directly to the internet via an ethernet cable and it keeps trying to turn the wireless card on my desktop on. You can still get to the page to configure the router's settings by going to 192.168.2.1.

As for the connection of the router, I did find that it was a lot better than the Netgear in that when I am watching a moving on my PS3 that is streamed from my computer, it does not cut out as much as the Netgear. With the Netgear, I was usually guaranteed to have a hiccup with each movie/show that I watched.

It was very easy for the router to be connected wirelessly and for the most part, it would keep the connection. Still, while it has been an improvement from an older Belkin I had, there are still some stability issues to be addressed and the set up was a bit tedious.

Still, this is a decent start-up router. If you are someone who has a lot of experience with routers though, you may not be impressed.
Pretty good for the price . This did the job I had for it, and while I wasn't overly impressed, it was adequate. The functioning was pretty straight-forward, and even though it doesn't come with an instruction manual, just a CD, I didn't miss it. The case of the device is kind of cheap looking, but then again it's an inexpensive router. One thing that bothered me is that there are no LED lights saying its connected or that the link is good (such lights are usually in the back of the device). That was annoying. It does have an access-point mode that worked well. When I tried to connect wirelessly, at first it was unable to connect (in automatic frequency mode) because of all the ambient wireless signals. However, when I set the frequency manually it had pretty good range, and I could get to it from the building next door. All in all, I was satisfied with this router; just understand that with the low price tag there are some limits to what you get.
Wireless-N for Dirt Cheap . It's a very basic router that can run wireless-n. For people who just want to check their email, never need to open a port, do anything fancy, but don'tt want to pay much. This is a perfect router for them. It's also cheap enough to upgrade relatives to have wireless, or faster wireless.

Installation is a bit annoying since it requires a CD, but it works on all the major operating systems so it's not a big deal.

Bottom line, if you're going to use it beyond just the basics, don't buy this basic router, everyone else, basic works just fine.
