Just what I was looking for! . This is a great little device, it receives signals (in my experience) up to 30 feet away and takes up less space then a flash drive. Its the perfect, cost-effective, way to give any computer Bluetooth capabilities!

works but still sucks! . This Bluetooth adapter works for transferring files from my phone to pc, but suck at allowing me to use my Bluetooth headphones to listen to music. The headphones works great on my iPod and phone, so I'm guessing its not the headphones but the adapter, my music skips every 15 seconds, I tried to find ways to fix it, but cant find online support for this device.

Works . I don't use it for much, just needed a quick way to get Bluetooth on my laptop. It works fine, and seems to be well supported under Ubuntu 10.10.
Works for Windows 7 . Plugged it in and all drivers were found, was able to begin using immediately. Listening to music through bluetooth headphones sounds great
It works for me. Can't promise the same for you though. . I just simply plugged it into my Windows 7 desktop and it worked immediately. I've heard conflicting reports though so your mileage may vary. But either way for the price you can't go wrong!

Cons Review
No success . I will start by saying that I am a 15 year Computer Tech. Take that for what you want. After receiving this item I plugged it in and Windows 7 (32bit) found it and installed drivers. Comes with BlueSolei bluetooth software on disk (if you dont already have the MS Bluetooth stack). Be aware the Bluesolei software is only trial and you are limited to a max transfer of 5m. Have to pay to remove limitation. After the software installed, I had to reboot. That's about as much as I got from it. After reboot, Windows was unable to load drivers and this just became an Unknown Device in device manager. After 6 hours of trying to fix it, it's still the same. Maybe I just got a piece of bad hardware (hey it happens) or maybe it just wont play nice under Windows 7. Hopefully you all have better luck. Doesn't work for me under Windows 7. I will try it under Linux and Windows XP later today and post my results. I gave it 2 stars seeing that Windows 7 did initially find drivers.

*UPDATE* Would not work under openSuse or Windows XP. I contacted seller and determined that I got a bad device. Seller offered full refund + shipping cost. Good Customer Service



Total waste . The first thing when I saw this product I thought it is just hard to believe that anything could be as cheap as $0.03 or so so the total price I paid was only 3 dollars. Now obviously, I coulndt have too many expectations with that price but well it didnt prove me wrong, IT SIMPLE DOESNT WORK! the interface is weird, the software wont even install on its own you basically have to do everything manually but still cant make it to share any data with any other device. I would suggest that pay a little more maybe buy a functional one around $5 because you will end up spending more on it anyway. As far as the shipping is concerned, yeah I received it sooner than expected.
Never buy this . It is so true that you get what you pay for. I bought it for few cents and a dollar for shipping. It died in two days. Since it is so cheap it is not worth your time returning it. It might as well be a solid piece of plastic.
Doesn't even work. . This adapter is a pile of trash, not even worth the materials it's made from. The thing doesn't even work, completely unresponsive when plugged into my PC, I tried installing the software for it, which I had to track down myself, and it still didnt work. But what did I expect when I paid a panny for it?
Not a good product. . First of all, let me say that I am a VERY experienced computer and Bluetooth user. I know what I'm talking about when I say this product is HORRIBLE. It arrived in perfect condition, and very quickly, but when I installed it on my computer running Vista, it seemed to work but did NOT. It "installed" quite quickly, and LOOKS like it works, but it will not pair with ANYTHING. I've tried several different Bluetooth devices on this same computer, and this is the only one that has not worked. Highly NOT recommended.
