Works great - but set up is a little tricky . You might like to read this review if you're planning on installing Windows Vista or Windows 7.

I bought the refurbished version of this router. As far as I can tell, it's exactly the same except that it has the most current firmware pre-installed.

I used the Linksys CD to install it, and following the Step 1 instructions I managed to configure the Print Server very easily.

However, when I then proceeded to the next stage (Configuring your computer to see the wireless router via your wireless home network), the CD just pooped out, saying it wouldn't work with my operating system. No 'sorry', no help, just a dead end.

Fortunately, I found a website where it gives you the instructions, and within five minutes it was working perfectly. I'm going to try to include a link, but in case it doesn't work, type into google ehow WPSM54G and hopefully the first link will be How to set up a Linksys WPSM54G or PSUS4 print server under Windows XP, Vista, Vista 64, Windows 7, or Linux. Here's the link - [...]

Follow the instructions for Step 2 and you should be golden!
Linksys WPSM54G Wireless-G USB Print Server Reviews
Great Pring server . I just picked up a reconditioned version and installed it. The installation was very easy to set up the print server.
I have this installed on XP, Vista 32bit and Windows 7 64 bits computers at home. Make sure you have the printer software installed before configuring the computer.
This would have gotten a 5 stars except there is no software for Windows 7 64bits. I had to use "add a network printer" and this was very straight forward.
I highly recommend this to anyone who wants to easily share a printer or if you have several printers to share, get one for each printer.
Linksys WPSM54G Wireless-G USB Print Server Opinions
Print Server Neat Gadget . This is a great product which gives the freedom to have your computer in any other room than where your printer is and still print. The installation is fairly easy. The directions could be better written to let you know when you have to use your router password (or security key word or passphase-- there are different names for the same thing). I guess computer savvy people would know these code words. I have told the manufacturer about the directions issue. Other than that a good product like most of the Linksys products are and the customer service people are great and very patient with frustrated customers.
Wireless Print Server . We are using this with 3 PC's and are very happy with it. It was easy to install. One of our computers did not have a CD drive to install the software so I copied the installation CD to a pen drive and used it to install the software.
Surprise . I read all review about this product and the average were so bad. Finally I took the decision and bought a refurbished in order to avoid lost my money.Oh surprise... I followed step by step the instructions and worked with my first computer, then try the second PC and my sohn laptop and worked very well. The scanner and the printer!!!
Excellent product.

Cons Review
BEYOND FRUSTRATING!!!! . I wish I could give a rating of below zero stars. Don't waste your time or your money. Hours were spent attempting to overcome an error that says 'Please wait Network USB Root Hub installation' as soon the printer is selected during the computer set up. Furthermore, technical support at Linksys was no help at all despite the fact that many people have reported online the same exact issue dating back to 2007! IT IS 2010! 3 YEARS AND NOBODY AT LINKSYS HAS FIGURED OUT HOW TO ADDRESS THE PROBLEM! SERIOUSLY! The so-called Linksys tech support person kept insisting that my HP printer may not be compatible with the print server even though the WPSM54G support page lists it as a compatible device. RIDICULOUS! They don't even reference their own documentation! NEVER AGAIN! A TOTAL WASTE!
Get ready to WASTE LOTS OF YOUR PRECIOUS TIME! . Check the reviews on the other Linksys wireless-G printserver WPSM54G - it is horrible, it works on ONE computer and the rest have problems, rarely being able to print to it - which is EXACTLY why I bought it - and I was ripped off, plain and simple, by Linksys by CISCO...

Hope they crash and burn like any bad business should.
BAD PRINT SERVER . Do not wasted money on these print servers. I don't know what Linksys did between the WPS54G and the WPSM54G unit, but they no longer function correctly. Setup is easy as with most Linksys network devices. However the performance is awful. Many time nothing will print, the job will be sent to the print server but nothing will be printed. You can swap out for an older version Linksys print server and it works perfectly. Unfortunatly the older (WPS54G and WPS54GU2) Linksys print servers are no longer available for purchase. Look elsewhere for a print server, these will bring you nothing but a headache.
