Vantec UGT-ST450CB SATA/eSATA II PCI Express CardBus . The setup on this item was pretty challenging because the instructions that came with the device were not inline with the actual installation procedure. I had to call their technical support to get it properly installed. Once set up, it's a snap to use and the speed with which this device works sith my new G-Raid device is astounding. I am a photographer and shoot some pretty large RAW files (up to 25MB each). This device just flies through downloading a 16GB CF card. I'm very satisfied with this purchase.

Plug-and-Play Perfection . Got this to connect my new external Lacie RAID cube to a win7 laptop that has one of these fancy new ExpressCard slots. Plugged it in and connected my drive, and it "just worked". No muss, no full. Way, way faster than USB. Has stayed in heavy use with many connections and disconnections for nearly a year, and hasn't had a single problem.

Honestly I have not measured its sustained performance as of yet. Frequently use this for my backups from my laptop to the external drive directly connected to the eSATA port provided by Vantec UGT-ST450CB.

Works as advertised . Inserted in new Lenovo laptop (Vista 64 bit), which does have eSATA but only port is on docking station. Installed automatically. This card allows me to use eSATA hard drives with the laptop when not at home. Works fine in the slim card slot on the laptop which leaves the wide slot for a CF card reader.

Excellent Product -- lasts almost a whole year! . Worked perfectly on my laptop with 64-bit Vista installed. Used it with an external hard-drive for great backup performance.
Revised 6-24-2010 -- this PCI Express card stopped working a couple of weeks ago. It lasted about 8 months. I am revising my rating to one star now.
