Excellent hub! . With so many USB devices around, you often run out of available USB ports on your PC. This hub has seven available ports, which is 3 more than the usual 4 ports. As a result, there are plenty of ports when you need them. The hub also comes with a power supply in case any of the devices cannot be powered by the port alone. The LED lights look great too. All for an excellent price!

great hub easy to install . I bought this HUB and originally thought that I was going to have to return it as it wouldn't install on my Windows 7 Ultimate lap top. After restarting the computer a couple of times, the HUB began working and I figured that the problem was more that it wasn't being recognized by the computer rather than it malfunctioning. The lights are great as at bedtime I often use my computer and my husband doesn't like trying to sleep with the lights on so that I can see my computer keyboard. This HUB makes it easy to see the keyboard in the dark and we both are happy. I've gotten some of these as stocking stuffers because everyone in the family who sees it, wants it.

Works well . This was an easy, plug-and-play item which has worked well to expand the USB ports for my laptop. I also like the fact that it has a power-up link for those items which need added power input. Sometimes I like the lights (they are pretty colorful), and sometimes I could do without them - pretty bright.

It's a little bright. . This was a gift for my father as he has many thumb drives of varying size. The one thing he didn't like was that the LEDs stay on all the time when the hub is plugged in. This meant that when he came home from work at 1-2am and the house was dark it lit up the living room. (what I thought was a cool feature of this hub turned out to be an ehh feature for him.) His solution was to cover most of the body with black electrical tape and since then all is well. From what I understand he has had no issues with the hub all the ports work and it's been a year now since I purchased it for him and there are no signs of it dieing anytime soon.
Needs bigger AC adapter . The 0.5A AC adapter that comes with it is inadequate. Needs a 2A to 3.5A to handle possible 7 port load.
Cons Review
7 Port USB Review . The USB automatically disconnects and re-connects with my computer by itself, without me removing the USB from my computer. Each individual port will work but if I plug multiple items into the port some will not register on my computer, particularly my Ipod
