This review is from : MSI Wireless-N 2T2R Broadband Router with Two Antenna
domoore . A very fast and easy wireless router, it came with a CD but I used the manual setup option. It works very well in mixed mode (G and N on the same network). The range is ok, but then again I have a 110 year old house so the walls are thinker than normal. Video and print jobs fly now, worth the money! In fact I liked it so much I got a second one for a friend.
MSI Wireless-N 2T2R Broadband Router with Two Antenna Reviews
MSI Wireless-N 2T2R router. . I wanted a faster wireless connection for my MSI netbook and this is perfect for that. With my Linksys I get 2 MBPS to 24 MBPS from the far end of the house but with this MSI I get 270 MBPS. It's very small and runs cool.
MSI Wireless-N 2T2R Broadband Router with Two Antenna Opinions
Decent could be better! . I bought this product just to extend the wireless range in my big house. Almost every N router that is available in the market does not give me more than 2 bars in my laptop at the farthest end of my house (i.e. my bedroom). So I decided to buy this router to act as a wireless access point to my original router and give a strong signal at the farthest ends. And it fulfills its purpose well. But installation is a pain if you are making it a wireless repeater. After setting it as a repeater, configured it to connect to my original wireless network and you're good to go. Also at times, the connection speed might drop but its just temporary as it will be back to normal soon. I can never think of using this as my only router, but a good extender to my original network.
1 1/2 Years of Continuous use - Still works perfectly . I set this unit up in January 2010 and never had to touch it again. Has worked perfectly without one glitch.

Central Florida has strong electrical storms, power surges, etc., but this thing is bullet proof. It just keeps on working - with excellent range. My daughter bought one and installed it herself. She knows nothing about electronics but simply followed directions. Amazing - she didn't have to call me once for help.

Why would anyone spend more!
MSI is confused on their own router . Welp you won't have to worry about the firmware. MSI's website makes even finding this router hard - and no downloads to be found. Forget about dd-wrt & tomato too. But the real problem, and why I'm now on a D-Link router, is stability. The router needed to be restarted at least daily. My old Belkin (F5D8230-4) was rock steady. It was so very reliable I thought my cable provider was the problem for a while. Nope. It was the RG70A router. Sometimes I'd be restarting the MSI nearly hourly. Now I'm stuck with another paperweight. I can't sell the MSI and I can't think of anyone annoying enough to give it to. Take your time and save your money until you can afford a good quality one. I've got a D-Link DIR-655 now ... and a rock steady 801.11n with WPA2 security WiFi network
Excellent . I previously Owned A MSI RG60SE it was prob the best Router I ever had ....D-Link Netgear and Linksys all burned out within a year while my MSI RG60SE still lives
I decided to get this RG70A it's even better than the 60SE ..range is Excellent Stability is perfect ,I thought all routers has a over heating problem
so I decided to mod it by placing a heatsink over the main chip .....my MSI RG60SE is goin on his 4th Year ...hopefully this one will last jus as long...No problems so far
Get it if you can . After researching and reading and thinking for far too long I thought I might get one of the routers recommended by CNet; but I didn't want to spend as much as the CNet rated ones cost and I wanted something more recent to the market. I kept eyeing this one, but Amazon never seemed to have it in stock. Finally I stumbled on its availablity on Thursday. I decided to go ahead and give it a shot. It arrived on Friday so when the kids finally got off my desktop I jumed on the chance to set it up.

This is my first router. I usually know enough to do more than just the basics, so I wasn't overly concerned with set-up. I followed the quick start instructions and then put the cd in the drive to configure it. The Windows hardware wizard did the basic stuff and I used the MSI website to check everything. My netbook recognized it right away, though it wasn't named anything that I would have expected; the signal strength and the fact that it was new to the area made it clear. I still haven't got my netbook configured exactly the way I want it but I expect that's because I didn't upgrade my Windows 7 starter system.

I took the netbook upstairs, which puts me about 12 feet over and 10 feet above the router. My signal strength is 4 - 5 bars consistently. I've had a few drops, usually when I stop to read something and the keyboard is inactive. I was able to watch a movie on my netbook via Netflix, while at the same time my kids were watching cartoons via Netflix on the desktop pc. Ahhh, bliss! Next step wil be to get a cable to stream video to the tv from the netbook.

So far, I am very happy with this router and impressed that I didn't have to spend twice as much to get it!

Cons Review
MSI N Router . Although its an N router it didn't have the range that my Netgear G router has so I returned it.
Avoid buying this product . The router was inoperable upon arrival and be forewarned, there is NO customer service information in the packaging or the box. No toll free number to call; No web site URL to go to for customer support. When I went on-line and found their web page, I was never able to speak to someone in technical support about the router. Non-existent customer support.

I returned it to Amazon; (A hassle-free process which, as a consumer I appreciate), and bought a Belkin wireless G router. So far, so good with the Belkin.
UPDATED. After 2.5 months router has constant wireless issues.Inabilty to connect until rebooted. MSI Support Aweful. Stay Away . UPDATE
Unfortunately, this product developed issues after only 2 months. Now the wireless stops working EVERY DAY. The only way to fix it is to reboot. MSI Support has proven utterly useless. It's not even listed on their web site, there are NO PATCHES, and they will NOT RETURN ANY EMAILS.

FYI - the QoS feature does NOT work. Priority Queuing is very simple stuff and this router couldn't even prioritize packets between online gaming and file transfers. Quite disappointing.

At first it was great but has now proven unreliable. I could deal with it, if I was getting support, but MSI will not respond AT ALL. I'm going to see if I can't return it since I bought it via Amazon.

So STAY AWAY from this and buy a Linksys or Netgear.

ORIGINAL REVIEW
I'm a network engineer so I've known MSI from their many years producing very good motherboards. So I didn't think that I was really taking a chance that they'd also produce a pretty good wireless router. Since it was only $39, I wanted to give this a shot and upgrade to N wireless as well. The verdict - MSI does NOT disappoint, not at all!

It was a BREEZE to setup. Just connect it to your cable modem and plug it in, then connect your PC to the router via the supplied cable, and connect via browser to 192.168.0.1 and Viola! You are able to config this thing in no time flat and it worked perfectly.

And I am getting a HUGE speed improvement over my last B/G router. In fact. using speakeasy's speed test, I am now getting nearly 26 Mbps. My very best speed before replacing my older firewall was only 14.5 Mbps. So not only do I have MUCH faster wireless but my Internet itself is VASTLY faster than it was. And it has B/G and N. Fantastic!

The one thing that I wish this router had is a built-n print server. BUT ... I'm keeping my old FW to use as a pure print server since it has the old parallel port - which my printer has also. All new printers are USB anyway. So it's not a big deal for me personally that it doesn't have a print server but it might be nice for other people.

So ... in short this is a GREAT little Wireless Router and FW. Very fast and VERY reasonable at under $40. Don't hesitate - just buy it.
