So far so good... . I got this for my daughter's dorm room. I got it for 99.00 so it was a good price and she dont have time for much tv anyways since she studies alot. maybe later i will get a flat screen for her but this matches her decor, saves space in the small dorm room and is a cute conversation piece. It is great for its purpose, however, i have read other reviews where ppl are saying if i lose the remote or if it malfunctions, I will be out of luck, as universal remotes will not work with this TV. so keep that in mind.
By The Way.... the Princess crown on top of the tv is optional, it dont have to be inserted, so we didnt put it on top, since she IS 19 yrs old.

Great TV Just don't lose or break remote! . I purchased this TV for my daughter to play her DVDs in her room. It has a clear picture and sounds nice. It is very cute and goes great with my daughter's princess-themed room.
My daughter is 3 years old and submerged the remote in the bath tub. We tried drying it out, placing it a bag of rice, etc. Nothing worked. Finding a replacement remote is impossible. I have not been able to locate a universal remote that will activate the input button which is needed to play the DVD player. There is no button on the TV that allows you change that manually. So in other words, this TV is completely useless for our needs without the remote control.
