works well with no setup required . I'm using this adaptor along with Native Union's Moshi Moshi handset to make VOIP telephone calls from my computer. The sound quality is outstanding (as good as or perhaps even better than a regular phone), and they were a snap to set up. When I plugged the handset into my Macbook Pro using this adaptor, the Mac immediately recognized and selected the Moshi Moshi as a new audio input and output. It couldn't be easier. Definitely recommended.
