Cheap and it works. . We wanted to add fast ethernet to a server box. This card was cheap and it works. Please note that the mini driver cd comes with several folders of drivers. The included generic user manual contains a sticker inside of it indicating which driver to use with this card:
D:\VIA\VT6122\WINSETUP.EXE
We initially tried to let windows home server find the right driver but that didn't work, although, it might have been something we did. The setup program on the cd appeared to load the same driver and it worked.

I got a second card for a machine I ended up upgrading to Windows 7. Win7 finds a driver but the card still doesn't work. It actually made my on-board ethernet port stop working as well. I had to disable it for now. It's still a decent card as long as you use a supported OS.
