Fantastic product great signal beats all competition . After using a Cicso Linksys USB Wireless-N adapter for terrible results, I received the Amped unit and now have the results I desired.
My setup: Linksys E2000 Router, Amped Wireless SR300 High Power Wireless-N Smart Repeater, and this USB adapter. I have an outbuilding that needed a high speed connection. I found the Amped Wireless SR300, and was amazed at how great it extended the signal. However, with the Cicsco USB adapter, I was only getting connection speeds of 15Mbs, sometimes even 5Mbps. I would also experienced dropped connections. The signal showed only 2 or 3 bars, and my internet connection (7Mbs average at the router) was only 1.5Mbs average. Now, with the Amped USB adapter, I am getting a full 5 bars ALL THE TIME, I get connection speeds of 150Mbs between the devices, and my internet connection is back to a FULL 7mbs, which is the promised delivery speeds of my ISP. So, I give a HUGE thumbs up to Amped's entire product line - and the best part, it is only a little more expensive than the other brands, with TREMENDOUSLY more value. Buy this and love it!!!
One thing to note - this is not a tiny unit for traveling - but is not large either. I would gladly use it on a laptop. Also note that it is designed to work with TWO USB ports, to power it's higher power needs, but WILL work with just one. I hope this review helps you as much as others have helped me!

Great! . Great! Used to be a 3 bar signal and frequently disconnect. After using this one, always 5 bar and never disconnect

Cons Review
Unable to configure in Windows 7 (x32) . Purchased this based on the high number of 5 star ratings, but I have to say I'm quite disappointed with it. Software installed ok, Windows recognized it, but cannot bind the TCP/IP stack to it. I then followed Amped Wireless high tech recommendation of "uninstall the software and reinstall" to the same result - unable to configure. For a device that's supposed to be "plug and play", this is unacceptable. I saw the "updated drivers" for Windows 7 (January 2010? Really? That's "updated?").. I cannot and will not recommend this product to anyone. If the "updated drivers" don't fix it - it goes back to the retailer.
Does not work . Amped UA600mW USB Adapter does not have the extra range coverage that the description says, or there is a major problem with its drivers. I bought it to replace a D-Link DWA-552 adapter, but I ended up putting the old D-link back. Windows shows five bars out of five, but it keeps dropping the connection. Modem/router was in the basement, and Amped was on the second floor. It became unusable after a few minutes. It worked ok only for a couple of minutes, and after that, no connection. As an additional test, I connected the Amped adapter to a PC in the basement about 5 feet away from the modem/router, and it seemed to work okay during the very short time I tested it. So, distance seemed to be the problem, even though there were 5 bars indicating excellent connection while connected to a PC two floors away from the router.
The other major problem is that Windows cannot remove the software/drivers. The software is like a virus. Windows did not even respond to the "Uninstall" button in Control Panel->Programs and Features. It was like the "Uninstall" button was deactivated when I selected Amped's software. I did not trust leaving software on my PC which Windows cannot remove. So I deleted the whole installed directory, and then I tried to clean up the registry using "regedit". I was able to remove most of the references to the Amped software. I had the same exact problem on Windows 7 32bit, and Windows Vista. Neither one was able to remove the Amped software.
