Plug and play . Working well with Charter cable, Doubled my speed to 18 Mbps. I was only getting 9 Mbps on my old clunker with a 12Mbps subscription, you need to re register the new MAC with your ISP and power off ALL Network connected devices and PC's for it to start working. I paid under Thirty USD for a refurbished unit and it looks like new, I don't think I would have gotten anymore speed out of a Docsis 3 modem at over 3 times the price. No problems on my network which feeds the internet to 3 Windows PC's + Ooma and a Wii

modem works now . modem is working great now. first modem was not compatible with cable service. when i called vendor he sent me a new one that works great.

An excellent product specially for saving space and for tight budget, the performance is perfect, for a high speed internet is an excellent solutions, check with your cable company for a compatibility. Trust in the quality of Motorola and I personally recommend the seller, very responsible and super fast delivery. Don't spend more money in other that can do the same performance of this one. (PERIOD)

Surfboard 2.0 . Have had no problems what so ever, called charter when I hooked it up and since then always a strong signal. So much better than the rental modem they tried to charge me for.
Works with Cox Cable . After a call to the cable company with its numbers to activate, it plugged and played out of the box and has remained a reliable connection ever since. I love the stylish and space-saving enclosure with useful indicator LED's. The user-friendly online diagnostic page is accessible by typing 192.168.100.1 into your web browser address field.
Motorola cable modem . I am very sastified with this purchase. It came within the time-frame that was stated and in good condition. It was easy to hook up and works great.
Motorola SB5101N received in good order . Received Motorola SB5101N in good order. Took about 10 days to arrive from order date. Rogers Cable would not let me use my own modem. Told me things like "Rogers cable internet only works with Rogers supplied modems" This is B.S. I tried to sign up with Rogers for 1 year where offer is to get 1st 3 months free and no installation or set up charges. Didn't work for me as Rogers wanted to charge me $200 for cable modem or rent at $7/month. I cancelled with Rogers and decided to go with TekSavvy who charge $44.95 set up fee. On 2011-09-13 evening Rogers tech guy (Very nice polite person) checked cabling in my home and set up cable for cable internet. He checked cable modem as it powered up and all went well. I called TekSavvy Support and resolved issue as I was only seeing Rogers web page when I tried to access internet. TekSavvy cable internet is working fine and TekSavvy never told me I could not use my own modem. I signed up online with TekSavvy and supplied Mac Id and Customer s/no. for the modem as per barcode label.
All working well so far. Did internet speed test on my wife's laptop which is connected via wifi and results were slightly better than Bell's DSL.

Great cable modem . This product works great right out of the box. It only took a few minutes to activate it with Comcast.
