Zonet ZEW1502 Wireless 802.11g/b PCMCIA Cardbus Laptop/Notebook Adapter: ZEW1502 (Retail)
This review is from : Zonet ZEW1502 802.11G 54 Mbps Wireless LAN Cardbus Adapter
Great Wireless Card . I've had several wireless cards, including a Linksys and a Belkin, as well as two USB wireless adapters. This card beats them all in terms of ease of setup, reliable signal, and range. I'm tempted to buy another one just to have a spare.

Zonet ZEW1502 802.11G 54 Mbps Wireless LAN Cardbus Adapter Reviews
Low Price but works great! . This PCMCIA card was well-reviewed on Amazon so I took a chance and ordered it. I'm happy to say that it works very well. I have yet to find a point where it doesn't work in my girlfriend's home. However, I haven't taken the laptop outside to ascertain the card's full range. Suffice to say, the card is well worth the $$ it costs and delivers great range and connection speed within the home.

No tech support . I installed the Zonet pci card without incident but there came a point where I was to enter some data about WEP. There was no directions about what to do or how to do it. Tech support email address and web site was listed on the product box. I sent an email to Tech Support showing all the data I had entered and asked about the WEP settings. It has been 2 weeks and I still have not received an answer. In-the-meantime my grandson, who has experienced installing 2 similar cards finished the installation for me.
The card works OK.

Value Priced Effective Solution . For what it is, this PC Card Ethernet adapter does the trick. In my case it was installed in a friend's aging laptop that is running Windows XP. The enclosed drivers installed with no trouble and in minutes he was hooked up to my WAP.
Despite my concerns about a manufacturer I'd not heard of before, it works well with excellent range.

Solidly reliable but not as good as a built-in . I got this card from Amazon about 18 months ago for my 2002 Dell Inspiron 2650, when I finally left the dial-up doldrums and got wireless DSL (base speed) in my home. When I bought it, there was an amazing rebate deal so my eventual end price was less than $15. It has worked great, although it locked up my computer about 10 or 11 times over the hundreds of times I've used it. I was thrilled with the blistering download speeds finally open to me. But about a year after I got it, we bought my mother-in-law a basic Dell Inspiron B130 laptop with a built-in g-wireless card...she's brought her computer to our house twice and she always gets better reception and speed than I do with this card (she almost always gets "excellent" connections, even out on our deck, whereas this card sometimes gets "low" even when it's just 1 story up and 60 feet east of the router). That's proabably a function of the PCMCIA slot and perhaps I could expect no better. But there it is.
Good no fuss wireless card . I've always used 802.11b cards for internet access but gradually found myself copying larger and larger file between my desktop and laptop which was taking forever. Having recently upgraded my wireless router I was looking for something cheap but good. This card is just that. At under $20 this card works flawlessy (on Windows XP) and shipping through Tiger Direct was good.
