Netgear WN604 Wireless Access Point WN604-100NAS Wireless Access Points

Works. But very poor interface . I spent 4 and a half hours configuring this thing.
I am not a network guy, but I am a professional software developer, so I am not techno-dumb.
I bought this to use as a bridge from my wireless network to some wired devices.
The biggest issue was that the web admin interface gives no indication as to whether you are successfully connected to the internet router or not.
Not that hard to select 'client' as the option on the bridging tab (although it does give a misleading error about the channel being set to auto that you can ignore when you do select 'client').
On the Wireless tab you must check each setting when you change something, as many of them are reset when you change an option(eg; Network Authentication (Open/SharedKey/WPA etc).
Also for a long time, with the lack of feedback, I was entering my network key in the passphrase field.
I was able to figure everything by opening up my router to no security and working back up from there. It would have been SO much easier if I had feedback that it could connect to the network, but that the credentials were wrong.

Wireless-n 150 Access Point Reviews
Awesome Bridge . This is easily one of the best bridges money can buy. For the price, you get a rock-solid, stable 802.11n bridge with a full switch attached! I have managed to save time and money using these throughout my corporation and clean up the cable clutter at the same time. Before, I had to bridge with separate equipment and use a switch, string power, cables, etc. Now, one device does it all! Though I am a network administrator w/ years of experience, nothing looked beyond what I'd ask of my friends and family to configure--the GUI seems pretty simple overall. It connects to all sorts of wireless APs--it doesn't have to be a specific make, model, etc.

Cons Review
Don't buy for use as a bridge . Sent hours trying to get two of these to bridge using every setting you could think of. I had to do this because the automatic configure buttons DO NOT WORK. They work good as a WAP if they are hardwired back to they router. So if you need a WAP and a switch in a remote area and can connect it to the router with a cat 5 cable, you'll be fine. Could not bridge with existing new Netgear router either (tried WPS button) and many different settings.
