Works very well but it's a little bulky . Product works well. Shipped to me with v1.0 of the software -- had to get v1.1 from the website. Also, it's a little large, so it will block things that are very close (e.g. another USB port on top of or right next to it). Trendnet includes a small (about 2") USB extension cable to resolve the problem, though that's a little awkward. On the other hand, probably all wireless N usb adapters will have the same problem, because of the extra antenna & circuitry. Range and throughput are excellent, and it doesn't keep dropping connection like some adapters do.

Works perfectly and updated an old laptops wireless ability for WPA-PSK . This is how wireless products should be made. Simple, easy to install, and it just works. After installing the drivers via included CD-ROM and plugging the wireless USB in everything just clicked and I was up and running in about 3-5 minutes. Super easy install.

I needed this format as I recently switched to AT&T Uverse for my cable / internet and their RGA (the box they use for wireless internet and your cable signal) encryption is in WPA-PSK. I could have gone into advanced settings in the RGA to change it to WEP but for under $30 I could get a super fast wireless connection that uses better encryption. Also, I use the old laptop as an automatic backup of important files (files backed up in triple) on my main laptop and for also keeping some other files that I access via the network so a faster wireless connection was really desired. This USB adapter totally does the trick!

Inexpensive 802.11n Wireless Adapter . I needed to upgrade my 802.11g wireless adapter with a faster device but didn't want to spend much money on it. I decided to take a chance on this one because of the price which was quite a bit less than some other brands. When it arrived I installed the drivers for it (supplied with the device) on my Vista system and was able to connect easily with my WiFi router. The speed was noticeably faster than my previous 802.11g adapter (my router supports 802.11n) so it did what I wanted.
Supplied with this adapter is a short and very stiff USB cable which is useful for plugging in the adapter to a USB port and supporting the adapter at any angle you desire - you just bend the cable. I have it plugged into a USB port on the front of my desktop computer and angled so the adapter is straight up and not sticking horizontally out of the port. That keeps the adapter out of the way.
I did notice one slight problem - when I first started using the adapter it would not connect right away when I rebooted the computer, I had to disable and then enable it to get it to connect. After about a week I found an updated driver for it from the Trendnet web site which I downloaded and installed. This cured the problem and it has been fine since then.

Steady and strong signal . The installation was easy and straightforward. The signal is strong and doesn't drop - have been using it for over a month, with two different routers - DLink and Belkin. It was purchased for old Dell desktop running Windows XP to get it on wireless network and so far it serves it purpose. One difference - the model we received is black and no blue.
300 mbps advertised 270mbps actual very very GOOD . Have a TrendNet Wireless Router and decided to go all wireless with all my network PC's. We are a tech savey family with two laptops and eight (8) desktop systems. Six run XP Pro, One Laptop with Vista, and one Desktop with Win7. I put the 300 mpbs TrendNet adapter on my new Win7 build, Quad Core 8300, 2 TB HD, 4 gb memory. I made this system dual boot with Win XP pro thinking I may not like Win7.
The TrendNet adapter works well with both operating systems giving 270 to 300 mbps, Outstanding. The only negative is that when I boot from one OS to the Other the router may not CONNECT. With the USB WiFi, it's awesome, because you can put it on the front or back of the computer, and I get like 115 Mbps or something like that

Pretty good adapter . I use a Trendnet Range extender, and I am getting pretty consistent 270MB/s out of the rated 300MB/s. The extender is on the same floor, so I guess I was expecting perfection. This is being used to stream video (Neflix, etc.) to my bedroom PC, so I can't really deal with a flaky connection. This is good 90% of the time, and I don't think I'd get much better until the next rev of 802.11x
Cons Review
Beware win7 64 bit . This adapter does not work with Windows 7 64 bit. Disregard the compatibility list, it is worthless. So far I have purchased and returned 3 adapters and none of them have worked with windows 7 64 bit. Linksys AE1000, Belkin n300 micro, and this Trendnet, none of which have worked. I even tried to use drivers made by the chipset manufacturers with no luck.
