It works . Five stars for working as advertised. Got a computer on the wired network that didn't have that capability built in. I'm using it on an older computer that I successfully installed antiX Linux on which recognized this device as soon as rebooting the computer after plugging it in. Linux Mint, which I tried first, did not recognize the device though.

best 50 cents spent :) . my lancard broke years ago on my laptop and I decided to revive it with this product-I just plugged it and it worked :) it said that it is used,but it was just in open package,inside was brand new.

Easiest Way to Internet . Works great - plug n' play! Got my daughter's laptop online easily and without any problems.
It's an ethernet card for laptop . Lan port on my older laptop had died so I bought one of these for when I need a wired connection. Works awesome!

Shiping and delivery was OK.
The adapter has indicating lights and is nice for a home notebook (as mine, I use the adapter for a home network), but if you need to carry your notebook you should take it off (more 1 inch outside notebook).

After a month a plastic cover bottom broke . After one month of real use a plastic bottom cover broke. Can't realy complain much for what I paid.
Network Card for Laptop . I have an old Toshiba Satellite laptop that has no Ethernet cable receptacle. This card is a very easy way to add that feature to an old laptop and I am very happy with it. I can connect to my internet modem and get on line with it.
Cons Review
Connecting Old Laptop to Web . First, let me say that I do not know why this device did not fit my "slot" on my old Fujitsu laptop computer. Everything appeared to be the right size including the contact holes in the card. In fact I had to remove an old card where I used to connect a telephone line so I knew that a card would normally fit the slot. (Sorry I do not know the correct terminology for everything but hopefully you'll know what I am trying to get across). I counted the holes in the card (the Dynex-DX Ethernet Base) and they were the correct number and the size of the card appears to be correct.The point is that this device did not work for me because I could not place it into my computer. I have not yet written to the company supplying the card. Hopefully, they will be able to explain the situation or possibly furnish a new card for me to try with my computer when I contact them.Therefore, I rated this card low since I have been unable to make it work with my old laptop. I do not suggest that someone avoid trying this device since possibly I received a card that somehow had some misalignment that I could not see by looking at the contact end of the card.The price on this device was extremely low since maybe there is little demand for this kind of device (card) any more. I expect this is true and this is the reason I am not too concerned about this overall situation. I was just trying to connect an old laptop using Windows 95 to the internet since I had a live cable available at my computer station. If the device had worked I would have had a backup computer to connect to the internet.
