Okay purchase.... . First off got the wrong item delivered, but replacements came very quickly. The installation was simple, but the range is not quite what I expected. Guess they would be better in a straight line of sight setting, but in a building even with just a few walls, the distance is reduced more than I would have expected...works though if you are close.

Hard to see much improvement . Running speedtest.net to check data transfer speeds, there is only a slight speed gain using this booster antenna over the stock antenna supplied with my Hawking range extender. It works fine, it's as simple as unscrewing the stock antenna and screwing this unit on, but at least at the distance I am from the wireless router, I'm not sure it's worth the cost.
