The Model 3035 PCI Express Modem is an internal faxmodem which connects to a Windows computer through a PCI Express slot. The Model 3035 is a single lane (x1) PCI Express card, and will fit into any available PCI Express slot regardless of the lane size.

Modem PCI Express 1x . There are as of today very few PCI E 1x modems. This one fit the bill for the HP computer that I bought that does not include a Modem, HP did not offer one. This one works fine. The caveat is that the seller that Amazon move me to did not respond to my question about compatibility with Windows 7 64 bit. Fourtuantely, Zoom does have a driver on line to achieve this.

Great value for the money . Some people had trouble with drivers but mine installed under Win7 64-bit native drivers and seems to work just fine.

(Type 2 Caller ID) service from your telephone company to use the modem's Call Waiting/Caller ID feature," be advised that per technical support, the modem does NOT support caller ID. They say "It has never had the capability to support caller ID."

Zoom Modem A+ . Ordered and installed this modem for a client who bought a new HP computer and still needs dialup internet. Easy install, it just flat worked I would buy again if I ever need a pci-e modem.

Zoom 3005 PCIe Modem . This is an EXCELLENT modem!! FWIW, I contacted Zoom about including a half-height bracket, which they are looking into, since a lot of PC's today only take the half-height cards. Otherwise, you have to use it without the bracket.
Good modem . It is a good modem. The instructions should be corrected. One down-load document has in it the customer should load the driver software first before installing the modem. Another document has in it the opposite. I installed the modem first, with no detected problems.
If ya gotta do dialup do it right ... with Windows 7 . I put this in my brand new HP e9260f. It looks like I am still gonna be using dial up for a while longer. Really wish we could get something else. The computer is great by the way too. Except for it doesn't like directx and I can't decide if it is a windows 7 problem or a nvidia geforce gt 230 problem but that is another story. the modem works great and was easy to install.
