Great modem! . This is a great modem at a great price. I'd recommend it highly to anyone needing good, reliable connections with a serial port (I haven't tried the USB port).It's especially well suited for Linux users needing a true hardware modem, rather than the so-called Winmodems.

56K Modem . The ActionTec 56K dial-up modem, is excellent product. It is very fast, connects quicklly, and the signal is very strong, a good product, I would reconmend it, if you use a 56K modem.

Gr8 . Great modem keeps me connected ive bin using it non stop to play World of Warcraft and to download stuff and I havnt had any problems with it yet and its bin about 4 months with it now.

Excellent and Easy . I've never had a problem with the modem, I can even use it to take older computers on th internet even if hey don't have a USB port, like most external modems require.
Good enough for government work. . This modem doesn't nearly connect at the speed it advertises. I get a 32Kbps connection at best, but it does the job. I've been spoiled by high-speed Internet for so long it seems like going back in time using this thing, but that's just me. Overall, a good external modem for the price.
Dial-up's BEST Friend . If your stuck with dial-up and play online games this modem is the player's BEST FRIEND.
One complaint . You should give a choice of serial cables. My Laptop serial port is female thus I needed a Male-Male cable.
Cons Review
JUNK . This thing is slower than the internal modem that was in my 10 year old laptop.
