Cons Review
Started out well . I purchased this two months ago because my home office is on a different floor from where my internet comes in. Since I do a lot of my work using Citrix / Remote Desktop, I needed to make sure I have a reliable, fast connection, as it's a pretty high-bandwidth package. It started off working really well -- I plugged it into the wall, installed the adapter (though it took a few attempts), and off I went. Definitely faster speeds than just wifi alone. Unfortunately, last week it just...stopped. The wireless still works, but the powerline itself does not. It's not an issue with the adapter (I've tried two), but rather, it's just not sending a signal into the wall anymore (the light no longer comes on). Calls to the manufacturer were not helpful (they've discontinued the product, it seems). Now I just have an semi-expensive wireless router.
