Perfect . It dos what it is supposed to do, even though it is refubrished it is in perfect shape. It reboots quite fast I have to say, and most settings change do not require reboot.

If you don't know anything about PCs but want a fast wifi network at home and don't have infinite $ GET THIS WITHOUT QUESTION . If you don't know anything about computers, but want a fast network at home, and don't have infinite money, GET THIS WITHOUT QUESTION!!!BOTTOM LINE: Affordable, high-end networking with a 'refurbished' (READ: 'full quality equipment in less glossy, but still nice box that is actually potentially useful afterwards unlike new boxes') router.Want to know MORE?Holding this in your hands when you take it out of the simple, minimalist box, if you don't think something like 'Woah,' then get your niece, nephew, brother, sister, friend, co-worker, or whoever is more knowledgable than you - evidently, anyone who knows about routers at ALL, even if it's hardly anything - to set your network up, because you'll never get it to work.Nice looking device, which is fine. But it works GREAT, something the government simply couldn't have paid millions for a decade ago, you can now buy for less than $50, a GREAT price because it's 'refurbished.' Route with the Gods on a peasant's price, all because the 'refurbishment' pays YOU. Seriously, if you consider having a shiny new box over a semi-ugly basic cardboard box-with-pleasant-color-sticker, both containing the same great product, worth the extra $55, minimum, then go ahead! Effortlessly, despite a tide of warrior ROBOTS, this router shall PREVAIL! No pampered hussy is this little box, but a hard, proud worker who asks a fair - indeed an almost unforgivingly, unselfishly SMALL - amount of pay in return - in fact, does so only one (1) time - and works obidiantly and with love and honor for the rest of your life, feeling fulfilled and grateful for the opportunity to let your information flow from beyond your home or business's borders, to every corner of whatever structure you inhabit. Yet your information doesn't flow as freely as the waves that carry it, for it is under inscrutable digital lock and key. Works well and arrive in a timely manner. . The Cisco Linksys router was in just like new new condition. Couldn't be happier with the product or the service.

I Love it . I tried to set this one up manually using its internet address(192.168.1.1) but my other computer would not connect to it. So I reset the router and used the installation disk. Setup went through and all my devices connected to the router worked without any hassle. This router is a replacement for an aging Linksys WRT54G and I am glad I did it. Good Buy . I bought the Refurbished one, E2500 Advanced Simultaneous Dual-Band Wireless-N Router, comes with full warranty. popped in the CD, I'm connected in 2 minutes.
contact32 . I purchased the E2500 refurb router and so far the experience has been very satisfactory. The setup was extremely easy and straight forward. I have the Windows 7 Professional operating system which may be a plus in effortlessly setting up a network device. The signal strength display on the task bar, however, never goes above 3 bars(good signal)out of a possible 5 bars (best or excellent signal)which may or may not be a problem in reception at some point in the future. For a home network user,I am pleased with the expeience so far and would recommend this system as a very good value for the $$.
Works Great! . This is a very nice router. Fast, super crazy simple to setup. Dual band. Guest access through a separate SSID is great.I took away one star because it was not reset during the refurbish process. It came all set of with some companies information. Seems like a privacy issue.

Item Advertised As New . I gave this a low rating because the item was advertised as new. When I got it the package said "refurbished" so I returned it. After I returned it, the description was changed to "refurbished" on the site.I bought this item somewhere else and it works great, aside from being the easiest network component I have ever set up! Highly recommend this item.
Keeps losing signal . Where to start. When it arrived it still had the previous user's set-up information on it, and since there is no manual, just a set-up disk this was not immediately apparent. It just seemed broken. Well, this isn't my first rodeo, so I stuck a paperclip into the reset button and it restored the factory defaults and the router and install disk worked after that. The real problem came after that. I went to my bedroom and hooked up my blu-ray player to the router wirelessly. No problem there. It was when I tried watching a movie streaming from Netflix that the problem arose. My connection kept switching from 80% to 50% and of course there is a pause while Netflix reloads the movie and of course the quality would suffer. I am going to check the internet for some kind of fix before I return it, but it certainly does not work correctly out of the box. Also, the blu-ray player is only about 20 feet from the router and this router was supposed to replace a failing d-link router I bought 4 years ago. I didn't have any problems with the previous router hooking up with my blu-ray player.
