Works Great . I bought this to use my Droid X(Rooted) wireless tethering with my Desktop PC. It connects via a mini usb cable that has two regular usb plugs daisy chained where it connects to the PC. I have also used it to connect to my D-Link DIR-615 router and I get the same speeds as I did using ethernet(1100 kB/s down at Speedtest.net). I even tested it without the antennas and it was still the same speed. I have not tested the range because my router and Droid X are just a few feet away. The whole product feels high quality. The detachable clip is pretty useless in my case because I have nothing to clip it to. I usually velcro stuff to my PC anyway though. I would highly recommend to anyone that wants an external Wireless Adapter.
It has a blue activity light on the front that could annoy some people.
Not plug-n-play with Windows 7. I had to use the driver disk to get Windows 7 to recognize it. You can also get the driver online.
I never read the manual or instructions given with products so I don't really know the purpose of the second usb plug. I read reviews on newegg.com where people complained about the second plug but it works just fine for me with just one plugged in(either one). I wonder if the second plug is for higher speeds or for older usb 1.0 ports. I thought it might work with two computers at once but is unlikely because the second plug only reaches about 12 inches from the first.

Rosewill RNX-N2LX IEEE 802.11b/g/n USB 2.0 Wireless Adapter Reviews
King of the USB Dongles . This is my second one. These are undoubtedly the best out there.I have worked IT Help Desk, spend 10-15 hours a day on computer for work and at home. I am convinced these Rosey's are the best.
The thing picks up my whole neighborhood for crying out loud.
It can definately pick up a strong 4-5 bars off the home LAN.Buy one, buy two. You will be very happy with the quality and value-in-price.

Rosewill RNX-N2LX IEEE 802.11b/g/n USB 2.0 Wireless Adapter Opinions
Installing under Windows 7 had hiccups; works okay so far . 1- Quick Installation Guide says nothing about the cable,
whether to plug in one or both USB connectors, what happens
in each case.
2- Use of two USB ports wasn't mentioned in the
description or "details" section for this item in any of the
several online stores where I shopped for it (Newegg, Amazon,
one or two others). Not mentioned on Rosewill's web page for
this model, either. Came as a surprise to me.
3- Documentation does not say what it means if the LED is flashing about
once per second. Some kind of error condition. Could never get Rosewill
tech support to answer the simple question of what does that mean.
4- Wouldn't work on my Windows 7 laptop until I installed Windows 7 SP1.
5- On Windows 7, don't use the Rosewill install CD: it installs some
custom config utility. Just plug in the unit and let Windows find the
driver on the internet. Finds a newer version than the one on the CD.
Config utility is not needed.
6- Rosewill tech support was little help; their standard response in case
of any problem seems to be "return it and we'll send you another one".
