Works great and a good price too! . Works well, good speed, connected to a trendnet "N" router. The only thing that you should know is that it does not appear to be configurable using a "hidden" SSID. I had to broadcast the SSID, configure the card, ensure that the feature was active that tells the card to connect to the network even if it's not broadcasting, and then hid the SSID on my router. It's a big of a quirk, but easily worked around. The price can't be beat!
TRENDnet 300Mbps Wireless N PCI Adapter TEW-623PI Reviews
Win7 Easy Setup . This arrived at noon, and by 1215 installed software and hardware, on the network and internet. It couldn't have been any easier than this. Make sure user installs software first before installing card. Following directions, it went in fast and easy. This was the easiest install of a wireless network card in a long time - and I've had some real challenges with Belkin, Linksys and so forth.
This is also dual band 802.11G/N, solid connections to an Actontec PK5000 (2.4Ghz) and dual band Apple (5.0Ghz)Airport. Seamless connection on each network. I have two internet connections running on my desktop - a wired and wireless connection via DHCP. It's simple to switch without having to disconnect before connecting. This is an excellent card. I live in two story house, 2.4G is on the first floor (100% connection) without losing connectivity. Compared to overpriced cards of Linksys, or Belkin, price is right.
TRENDnet 300Mbps Wireless N PCI Adapter TEW-623PI Opinions
Good connection with easy installation . The card is easy to install and it was instantly recognized by Windows 7 which downloaded the drivers for the item. I did not even have to use the installation disk.

I take the claimed wireless speeds with a grain of salt because there are so many factors that will effect the speeds of uploads and downloads. I get a strong signal in the room next to the router with the card and have not had a dropped signal. I can surf the web and download files fairly quickly so I am happy which is what most people do with their PC anyway.

If you need to connect your PC wirelessly, I definitely would recommend it, especially if you have Windows 7 since it worked right out of the box for me.
Works well easy to install . Running on a Windows XP machine, this TRENDnet Wireless N PCI Adapter seems to work very well. Physical installation of the card was a little annoying because of the odd triangle shape of the card (pressing down on an angled surface tends to distrubute the force on an angle rather than straight down), but once in place I haven't experienced any problems.

I did attempt to run this card with only installing the drivers and not installing TRENDnet's own wireless configuration software, but I couldn't get it to connect to my Linksys Wireless-N router like that. I had to install the wireless configuration software that came with it to get it functional. Once the software was installed, I configured my encryption keys, and I was up and running in no time.

This little card seems to pick up a few more surrounding wireless networks than my old Netgear G card. For the price and quality, I'd recommend this card to folks looking for a decent wireless PCI card on the cheap.
Won't connect faster than 130Mbps . I called tech support to try and get this issue fixed, but they kept giving me the runaround. Most users state that they get somewhere close to 300Mbps, but I'm not even close to that. Decent buy if you just need plain old wireless. Terrible ping for gaming as well.
Great card . I have this paired with Trendnet's wireless-N access point and their wireless-N gaming adapter. I had a little trouble getting the access point set up, but the TEW-623PI PCI card went right in and has been working perfectly ever since. I use it to stream HD media to my XBox and have seen a great improvement over my previous wireless-G reception and bandwidth.
Not the best N adapter for the money . Although this card does a great job of connecting you to any far away networks like a good N card is required to do, I would highly recommend searching for another version.
On the plus sign, installation is simple and easy. The instructions are a page long (per operating system), and are all obvious steps.

On the other hand, this card takes an eternity to find the networks when the computer first boots up, while a G adapter will do so almost immediately.
Also, if your SSID is not being broadcast, there is no option of searching for that specific SSID, so you are required to use another computer (or adapter) to make it viewable, connect, and then hide it again.

Again, this product does do its job, but not to the satisfactory level that most customers would desire.
ITEM SHIPPED IS NOT WHAT IS PICTURED . First of all let me say that I am more than pleased with how this little card is performing but I want to mention that what is pictured as the card (TRENDnet TEW-623PI v1.0R) is not what is shipped...in fact, the item that gets shipped is version 3.0R which is even better. The 3.0R version supports the IEEE 802.11n standard (not draft although the card supports both) and seems to be working flawlessly. With Windows 7 the installation is literally plug and play as Win 7 can automatically find the driver. Highly, highly, highly recommend this card.
Works great . My PC connects to my wifi (n) network automatically every time I wake up or start my computer and the connection is solid.
I can stream 1080p movies over the air from my other PC no problem.
I recommend this.
works well with win7x64 . Bought this card to replace my wireless adapter that I was giving to a friend. I figured since I had a wireless N Trendnet router that a wireless N wireless adapter may make a difference. Can't say I've noticed a huge difference, but the card was a simple plug and play. Router is on the first floor and I get between 3 and 4 bars of signal at a steady 108+mbps about 15 feet away on the second floor.
