Not bad but support website could be better . This is not that bad of a BT card. Some of the USB models are better, but I needed a PCMCIA card the this one fits the bill. Contrary to the other reviewer, it indeed does support network file xfer, network PAN, along with Stereo AD2P support. If paired with a Class 1 headphones you get amazing clarity and range. I have used this card with the Blueangel, BluTrek ST1, Motorola S705, and Jabra BT620s and all sound really good with this class 1 card. I had a pair of Radio Shack Spyder class 1 BT headphones and could get simply amazing range in my house upstairs, downstairs and even out in the yard!
The downside is the file support which is horrilbe. If you can find the website then find support files for this card, the software was old and downloading was really SLOW!! Did I mention downloading from the billionton website was slow? Luckily the hardware in this card works perfectly with the latest Toshiba bluetooth stack and software that is free! The latest version is 5.10.12 as of this review and I downloaded free from Toshiba and it makes this card work just fine. If you have one of these, you simply must install the latest software from Toshiba, as it fixed many problems!
Billionton Class 1 PCMCIA Bluetooth Adapter (V2.0 + EDR) Reviews
Works as advertised . Currently using the card with Debian Squeeze. Upon card insertion the system automatically detected it and was usable about 20 seconds after that, so it is fully compatible with BlueZ.

About the only thing that might put some people off is the small tab on the edge, as it juts out about ? inch from the edge of the laptop (using a Thinkpad T60). This means you need to remind yourself not to put that edge on the bottom when you're packing up your laptop, lest you damage hardware.

All in all, a good buy.
Billionton Class 1 PCMCIA Bluetooth Adapter (V2.0 + EDR) Opinions
Very useful and great price! . I purchased this model blue tooth explicitly for my CF-29 MK2 because I wanted more than just blue tooth; I wanted a powerful, multichannel, long range, and plush chunk of hardware for my work computer. For all users wondering - I did a LOT of research, and this bad boy fits within all CF series PCMCIA trays. (with the door closed!) Its a great addition for any toughbook user, as it is powerful and completely safe within the housing. I recommend Widcomm's standard installer from their site. I'm using it right now from my bathroom about 20' from my desktop where I'm sharing my Internet via a PAN. I'm also using my bluetooth headset, and sharing files at about a megabit a sec. I've got a BT keyboard and media player remote somewhere around here too....
Old "Zoom" card ? . I had bought about 3 years ago, maybe more, a Zoom card. Then my laptop fell on the card and both broke. Got the same laptop (7 y.o. laptops are cheap :-) and wanted the same card. Zoom no longer available, but this one looks pretty much the same, maybe they sold the product line (Zoom was a U.S. based company). Can't tell if it's better or worse than the zoom card, since I upgraded the Toshiba stack. Did have some limited functionality with the old install of the stack, but I decided to do clean install. (as much as it is possible).

May edit this reveiw in a couple of days, since I will be installing fresh on Win 7.

Cons Review
Disappointed . This product only support file transfer option, it doesn't support Network access or Bluetooth headsets and other services. I recommend to buy another Bluetooth adapter.
