Can't beat it for the price ultra portable nice sleek look. . After looking at a number of similar items, I picked this one for two reasons: the price and the looks of it. Others were higher priced and seemed to serve the same exact function, plus many of them looked junky, were too big, etc. This hub does NOT have external power, which makes it nice not to have to deal with yet another power adapter and cord to plug in, string across your desk, or carry around with you. The only drawback to that is that if you are using some very high powered devices at the same time, (such as USB hard drives or the like) that may require too much voltage and supposedly could shut down the computer or devices unless your computer puts out enough power through the USB to handle it - or you get one of the USB hubs with external power cord.
Personally, my little laptop has had no problem with anything I've plugged into this device. I've had my mouse, a USB to Ethernet adapter, and a 300GB External USB drive all hooked up and going at the same time with no problems at all. I definitely recommend this item to anyone looking for an inexpensive and dependable way to expand their USB ports.

Good USB hub not so good for hi-speed devices . This device works great for any-to-one card readers, mice, keyboards, joysticks, bluetooth adapters - not so good for external hard drives. It was very inexpensive and I had read a couple of reviews stating this, so I am pleased with it. I bought 2 of them and have no problems at all. They have a 1 meter cord and have them plugged into tower PCs that are on the floor and the hubs sit on my desk. Definitely worth the money!

Great 4-port hub! . We use this with an extension cable for connecting multiple remote controls to our PC. It works great.

i <3 ultra products! . i've been buying ultra products for years for both my computer/networking business for clients and for personal use. in my personal opinion, their products and extended warranty for registering your products on their site can't be beat! if you find a similar product of a different brand that's cheaper, i'd still buy/stick with anything ultra makes. i've only had this particular product for a short time, so hopefully it'll standup as well as all their other products that i use too! their products rock and no, i don't work for them :P

4 for 1 . I can only say to those that want or need something like this to save space and make more of it, this cheap little product is "Great"...worked the first time I plugged it into all of my computers, laptop, etc... Windows Vista, XP, you name it. Why pay for all those gadgets that cost $$$.
Works like it should with no problems . I was able to plug and play with no problems. Great Price and a Great Product.
just an upgrade over my old 1.1 . guess it works... don't get the windows message "this device could work faster if connected with 2.0.......
Cons Review
Works but not great . This is a functional piece of gear but seems cheaply made. My biggest complaint is that the jacks are sometimes hard to get the USB cable into.
Don't buy this item! . I bought this and it arrived within a few days, but only worked for one day. You get what you pay for.
