The SV431DDVDUA 4-port DVI VGA dual monitor KVM switch lets you control 4 Dual Display computers using a single USB mouse and keyboard peripheral set. This dual view KVM switch provides 1 VGA and 1 DVI-I port per computer connection for high-resolution video, as well as audio switching capability between connected computers. The DVI/VGA KVM switch features an integrated 2-port USB hub that allows USB 2.0 peripherals to be shared between connected computers, and offers a compact design with a rugged metal chassis for durable performance. NOTE: While both DVI-I (analog) and DVI-D (digital) are supported by the KVM, source PCs must output the same signal for proper switching. It is recommended wherever possible to use DVI-D cables across all PC to KVM and KVM to Console connections. If necessary, please contact technical support for assistance identifying your source. Backed by a StarTech.com 3-year warranty and free lifetime technical support.

Looks great but has a few problems . Prior to buying the StarView I used a TRENDnet TK-409K switch. That switch worked great, but it could not handle DVI-D video, which is why I bought this unit. The good: The unit looks very clean on my desk. All the cables come out the back (unlike with the TRENDnet). The buttons are all on the front, which I like. The lights and buttons are well-designed.The bad: The DVI-D ports are so close together that I cannot have two of my StarTech DVI-I cables plugged into adjacent ports. You would think that a unit manufactured by StarTech would work with StarTech cables! Since only two of my computers use DVI, I was able to stagger the plugs. One of my four Dell PCs does not recognize the keyboard when I first turn the PC on. It pops up a message wanting me to type a character before it will proceed (which I cannot do, since it does not recognize the keyboard I have plugged into the StarView). I solved that problem by taking a spare keyboard and leaving it permanently plugged into that PC. I don't type on that keyboard, but it makes the PC happy. The keyboard input on the StarView unit has serious problems. It occasionally will drop a character that I know I typed. Certain key combinations cause it to output a never-ending stream of characters. For example, right-Alt-m (the right-Alt key in combination with 'm') will send an Alt-m followed by 'ddddd...' The repeating characters will continue until I hit another key. I reported this to StarTech's customer support. To my amazement, they were unwilling to try the offending key combination on one of their own units! Even though I experienced the same problem with three different keyboards and four different PCs, they insisted the problem was with my configuration! They told me that the StarView used to have this problem but that I have one of the units manufactured after they fixed it. I solved the problem by plugging the keyboard into one of the generic USB ports. The keyboard now works fine, but it has no hotkey capability. The only way to switch computers is to push one of the buttons on the front of the unit.

StarTech.com SV431DDVDUA 4 Port DVI VGA Dual Monitor KVM Switch USB with Audio and USB 2.0 Hub Reviews
Great KVM Switch . I originally had a KVM that did not support DVI & VGA or have the capacity to switch audio. It took at least 6 to 8 times in pressing buttons to get the screen to change computers successfully. Within a month, that KVM switch crashed. Though a bit pricier than I wanted to pay, I'm thrilled with this KVM switch's performance. Very easy hook-up and never fails to switch on command. I highly recommend this switch if anyone is dealing with computers with different video hook-ups. The audio is an added bonus, as I always have a headset need and didn't like having to change headsets each time I changed to the other computer.
