Seems to work great . Bought this Firewire card in hopes for maximum compatibility with my M-Audio Firewire 1814 audio interface and the result seems flawless so far (compared to previous firewire adapter which used VIA's FW chipset).

The right firewire card. . I bought a Digi002 control surface and I needed a firewire card for it. The card I originally bought did not work. If you have any audio equipment requiring a firewire connection, buy this card. It has the TI chip which is needed to get your equipment connected correctly, especially Digidesign equipment.

Works For me . This was a no-brainer install and it works great - especially for the Application that my built-in 1394 Port would NOT work with - (Digidesign ProTools).
