Worked as advertised . I just received the dlink mainstage yesterday, my laptop is sony vaio SB instillation was easy but it couldn't work when I choose ATI graphic card it worked with the intel 3000, clear image I shocked how clear it is and no discounting issues even I tried to run game on it and it worked but in low configurations otherwise it will disconnect I am happy with this product since I am looking for such connectivity solution from a long time and finally find something I can relay on

After updating firmware noticed that no longer able to run games even in low gonfig and freeze in picture in less than sec about every 15 minutes, I am still happy with this but they should fix the freeze issue

D-Link MainStage TV Adapter for Intel Wireless Display (DHD-131) Reviews
Not reliable . Video quality was very good (pretty similar to one over HDMI cable). Unfortunately when I was streaming audio it was skipping (silence) for fraction of second at least 3-5 times during one song - very annoying. Then the most annoying part was when device decided to completely disconnect and you had to reconnect again - this was happening at least every 30 min. I had to return it because for me it was unusable - I wasn't able to watch entire movie without the need to reconnect at least 3 times. I doubt it's problem with my laptop as it's brand new laptop with i7 processor. Another thing is that I wasn't able to get 5.1 dolby audio - Intel website was sending me to Sony for latest drivers (sony version of driver was less than needed as specified on Intel page). Maybe I was just unlucky and got broken unit - I will try with netgear push2tv. Good luck

Really Great . Works as described ,loved the WIDI technology ,i think it will catch up very soon.Very easy to setup and i saw no lag as described by some users.

It simply works and works simply . Recently purchased a Dell XPS 17 Laptop that had Intel WiDi preinstalled. Ordered the D-Link MainStage TV Adapter from Amazon, received the next day, installed and immediately watched a missed Daily Show with John Stewart on our HDTV. Everything was great. If you have WiDi, I highly recommend it. Have had spoty problems with my firewall and connection to the D-Link. Currently is resolved by diabling the firewall.
WiDi works great with awesome picture and sound! No more wires! . Great product with no picture lag and very stable. I have the latest Intel WiDi chip on my 14" Dell laptop and it works great to send the picture to this DLink adapter without any wires! This adapter is small and I hide it behind my HDTV. Set-up is almost fool proof and even surprised me how simple and automated it was. Took less than 3 minutes after I turned it on and connected it to my High Definition TV. WiDi picture looks as good as when I use my 10 foot HDMI cable from my laptop HDMI output and much easier to use than that long and heavy cable! I have tried this with HULU, Netflix, and Amazon Instant Videos and they all look great especially when you are playing HD movies or shows. This is the best WiDi adapter available on the the market now.
Excelente producto . Por mucho tiempo busque un producto que me permitiera hacer facil y practicas mis presentaciones; este D-Link MainStage lo compre con muchas reservas debido a que habia gastado dinero en comprar otros productos pero fue dinero perdido, no llenaban mis necesidades. Ahora lo tengo su instalacion es breve y rapida; el software(Intel Widi) en mi computadora al comienzo no funcionaba asi que lo borre y lo volvi a instalar y me trabajo de maravilla; la identificacion o reconocimiento entre mi laptop y el televisor fue rapida; despues de introducir el codigo de emparejamiento todo quedo listo; no tengo problemas; no tuve que hacer ningun ajuste de imagen esta es clara y de alta definicion y el sonido es maravillosamente claro; cada ves que uso mi televisor es facil muy practico y muy bueno. Estoy muy contento con mi nuevo TV Adapter D-Link MainStage. Gracias a todos. Roberto
