easy to install and work as expected . I heard that USB 3.0 is lot faster than USB 2.0 and since I need to add USB ports to my system, I thought I will give this a try. Especially I have had good experience with SIIG products before.
This card comes with full-height bracket but it also include a spare low profile bracket so I have no problem to use it with my slim desktop. Installation is easy. Just plug in the card, install the driver that is on the CD that comes with the card and it works.
Used it with a USB 2.5" ext. HDD and data transfer speed is significantly faster than connecting to a USB 2.0 port.
I am satisfied and will recommend it to friends who is looking to upgrade to USB 3.0.

Extra USB is Great . I put two of these in my new HP Pavilion Elite HPE-410y because 4 USB ports in the back are not enough.
I bought a local Y cable to connect the 5V and 12V to the cards. I down loaded the V2 software from the SIIG site and ran that so Window 7 can use them. I connected one to my UPS and another to my Droid phone to make sure they work and there were no problems. A recommened buy!

USB 3.0 2 Port by SIIG . I bought Seagate Gigabit external drive which did not evevn come close to 100 megabit. So I was looking for fast external drive for my photo back up. I did buy external Seagate USB 3.0, now I need the card for my desktop. After reading many reviews and prior good experience with SIIG product, I bought this card. I can only say this card is fast and working very well. it does 40 to 50 meagabit per second, better than my Gigabit Router. I will recommend any one who wants to buy.

Cons Review
Poor instructions tech support and packaging of product. . When I first purchased this card it installed quickly hardware-wise, and software was just as quick and easy.
** Solution to disconnects near bottom ***
This product has one major problem, that is related to other problems however.
I had constant disconnects. Sometimes it would disconnect my devices almost instantly, other times it would go for a few hours.
I tried many solutions to fix this problem
---Power state, keeping USB on at all times
---Updating firmware. This is a multi tiered problem...
SIIG has old firmware on their site, shame on them. There is newer ones out there, and I eventually even found the newest drivers.

I called support for a solution and they said they had no idea. Now, I noticed that the card has a 4 pin connection on it.
I asked tech support about it, and they said that it was an optional power cable that is not included.
They said that I "wouldn't need it" but couldn't say who or why anyone needs it.
I was at the last string, so I decided to buy the UNincluded cord (that the manual doesn't comment on)
I installed the 4pin cable (I had to trim the clip on it) and since then 0 disconnects!!!!
So, you *can* get this card to work, but it's unacceptable that it takes this much messing around to get it to work

The software on SIIG website is almost a year old
Shame on SIIG for this half baked product!

I would not recommend SIIG the company however.
USB Ports dis-functional . The USB3 chipset is seen by the system and the drivers were installed successfully but the two USB3 ports are dis-functional. Wast of money as far as I am concerned. Bought a USB3 external drive that works fine on my other system which has USB3 on the motherboard. Installed the card into my game system and neither USB port works on this card.
driver problems - can't see drive . I got various errors with a USB 3 external drive connected to this card. The drive works fine connected to my standard USB 2 ports.
I don't have another USB 3 device to check, but the drivers for this card seem messed up.
(I downloaded the latest Win 7 x64 drivers directly from SIIG - 4-27-11)
Basically, it seems like the card/driver is a POS.
