Works great as long as... . ...You have a TV with VGA input(s). I bought the IO Gear GUWAVKIT for a customer that wanted to project the conference room PC video signal onto their flat panel TV in the same conference room.
I discussed this with IO Gear's support team and they assured me that it could be done even without any VGA input on the TV. They lied. I spent $170 on different adapters and boosters and nothing could make it work. A month went by and I chatted with the support team several times each week as they sent me after another adapter and another converter. Nothing they recommended worked. After much frustration, they finally admitted that it probably wouldn't work, but they had hoped we could find a way with the right adapter(s).
The customer finally broke down and bought a new flat panel with VGA inputs and we had them up and running in 15 minutes.
DO NOT BUY THE IO GEAR GUWAVKIT OR THIS TRANSMITTER FOR A TV THAT DOES NOT SUPPORT VGA!!!
If you do have a flat panel with VGA input, this system rocks!

Cons Review
I am DONE with Iogear . Two different Iogear WUSB adapter models and neither worked. Returned both and will not buy anything from Iogear again. I'll stick with Kensington and Logitech. Iogear customer support was terrible on both counts, the product descriptions on their site are lacking and the software/driver downloads were a bear to work with.
