2nd one - problems with the first... . For the price, I guess this switch is ok. The first one I bought starting have trouble with the port on it. Ports would just go dead and I'd have to switch the cable at that port to another open port.
I called support serveral times and spoke with different technicians, but no one could get the switch to work correctly on those dead ports. They were supposed to email me RMA instructions, which I never got. I called multiple times to get the RMA instructions, but each time I called they wanted diag my switch again!
Needless to say, I ended up buying a second one, which has been working. I still have never gotten LinkSys to give me an RMA on the first. So it's sitting in its box - big waste of money.
The reason I gave this product a 4 star is because it works when it works. My only real gripe was the support. In the future I'll probably be looking somewhere else for a switch.

Excellent mounting options . First off, I got this product for just $85, which I thought was a steal for a 24 port switch, even if it is only 10/100. Even at $100 it still is a better deal than most 8 port switches. Worked first try, no configuration.
But the best part, in my opinion, is the mounting flexibility. It comes with some stick on feet if you just want to set it on a shelf, and it comes with 2 L-shaped brackets for rack mounting, but you can also turn the L brackets 90 degrees so instead of sticking out from the front for rack mounting they stick out with the flat side flush with the bottom. I didn't have a rack, but I turned it on the side and used those two tabs to mount it to the wall. Much easier than trying to use hidden, slotted holes.

Superb switch . Using it for multiple connections in my home using: windows 7 homegroup and ubuntu share, i love how it works, just connect the modem to the switch and all other components : pc's, HDTVS, I-link stbs,PS3'S you name it, and it automatically generates an individual ip adress with 10.0.0.~ for each one, you can also convert this switch to a huge router by connecting your router directly to the switch, Here's the map: Modem - Router - SWITCH - and components,and it will get router ip addreses, 192.168.1.~. I do understand this is not a gigabit switch, but im still not using that because my house is full of 10 -100mbp machines,and for the most part i needed lots of ports for future increase in traffic, im not a wifi guy, i've had all those bridges and acces points in the house and i always got slow or dead connections with my laptop and my android phone, not funny when downloading 500 mb file with 2 mbit internet, im a cable guy and im gonna stay that way, for me an ethernet home is a connected home, and this gives me peace of mind that my connections will never drop out, love this baby, and hey its cisco you cant go wrong with those folks, and btw it does not burn up or get hot, its always cool and it does not have fan.

Simple fast well designed . Easy to install. Just plug in all your CAT wires. No set up. All ports are auto sensing/learning etc. I have 15 PCs and 2 macs running through it all day long pulling video, large files, images, and constant SQL queries without a glitch. Buy it.
Everything you could want in a network switch... . Not too much I can say about this network switch.
It worked great when I had to replace a network hub that was failing. It was easy to install and connect. Worked perfectly the first time. I would absolutely recommend this switch!!
