Wireless computer to HDTV . Had a terrible time installing the software for this product.--Installing from the furnished disk, a message kept coming up "You must install MS Net before continuting installation". I already had this on my computer and couldn't continue. Than dowloaded new software from the net, tried to install, and it kept bringing up my power desk. (??!)
Finally called their cust. service number, got a great guy named James (in Israel).He walked me through an entirely different procedure including dowloading two different programs, and the installation worked like a charm. Thanks James/.
I was surprized by the good operation of this unit. It trasmits wirelessly from my computer through a solid floor upstairs to my TV. Picture is good and have no trouble with speed. However, still have to figure out how to get sound.

Mac Compatible . Despite what their website says... this 100% works with Mac OS X. I'm using Lion (10.7.2) I realized that many different companies sell this exact same adapter under different names. I googled "Displaylink wireless USB adapter", found another companies site that sells the identical product just differently branded, downloaded their Lion drivers and installed and boom, worked perfectly. I'm 98% sure they EZAIR doesnt offer MAC drivers just so people will purchase the more expensive model, but I can 100% tell anyone that this DOES work with mac, and the drivers are generic for all companies that sell this product. This has worked great so far in both Windows 7 and OS X, so I would recommend this. Picked it up on a deals website for about 80 bucks, couldn't be happier. If anyone has any questions about getting it to work in OS X, just ask and I can help!

i love this thing . I actually have one of these and I love it. I'm able to stream any of my downloaded movies to my vlc player, not to mention my the product let's me watch baseball on my bigscreen with my MLB.com account. I can see where the person above may have had a configuration issue, as you have to choose how you want to display your screen. It's really a microsoft thing where you just have to go into how to personalize your display, but this goes for any streamer, or even when you have your pc hardwired to your tv. The support people helped me with that one. All in all I love it, because I don't have to pay for cable anymore and I can watch whatever I want on my TV from my laptop.

Surprisingly pleased . I paid $110 delivered for this unit after coupon and was pleased with the quality. I had previously owned the Roku unit and found that unit impossible to setup and find this unit for streaming netflix more appealing. I did finally get the roku setup and it works fine; however, was forced to have wires everywhere that I had to constantly change between dvd player and roku. This was a much easier solution for my needs.
Cons Review
This product is not compatible with HP DV series laptops . I brought this product through online. I faced difficulty in installing the product initially and called customer care. This is most ridiculous that whenever I call customer care it went to voice mail. I left number of voice mails. Though they mentioned in their web site that they will give 24/7 support, they dont give support. Their call center is some where located in west Asia. I got call from them next day and one of the agents language is horrible, they do not understand simple english. The line was transferred to next agent and could understand my language. Since they work in different time zone, I did not get support during my convenient time. There is a problem with the drivers which they sent through CD. Those drives clash with my display drives and turn-off my laptop after couple of minutes. When I asked for the process to return that product, they told very big process. I do not advice to buy this product, since there are many other branded products with better price in the market.
