The Vantec 4-Port SATA PCI Combo Host Card w/RAID is the easiest way to update any computer with SATA & eSATA ports. Once installed, this combo host card will add two SATA & two eSATA ports with two independent channels. This allows support of two SATA devices at speeds of up to 150MB/s whether it is an -- enclosure, SATA hard drive or SATA device. Jumpers are set to internal ports . Received promptly. Instructions do not tell you to set the jumpers to external ports if you want to connect an external hard drive. A call to tech support promptly solved the problem. To find jumper instructions locate the folder UGT-ST320R on the included CD and go to page 4. Port C & D move all jumpers to 1-2 position. Works fine after moving jumpers. I used it with 4 TB drive.
