Works well but it's a behemoth... . I got this antenna in hopes of improving the performance of our wireless DSL home network. We have numerous wireless devices that all use our D-Link DSL-2640B modem/router: laptop, desktop, smartphones, and our PS3 streams media from our media server through it. After hooking this up, there was a noticeable improvement across the various devices; nothing is starved for bandwidth anymore. Video is now stutter-free on the PS3. The only problem is...this thing is gigantic compared to the stock one. It's 14 & 3/4 inches long. Our D-Link was quite discreet and out of the way, and now it is most definitely noticeable. The performance is worth it, so it's not a deal-breaker, but I would've liked something a bit more low-key. It's definitely worth the price if you don't mind the large size.

Cons Review
Not for all D-Link Routers . This Item does not work with my DIR-655, buyer beware it will not work with all D-Link routers. Before you purchase make sure its the correct one. The connection on this one was large, almost the size of a coaxial cable that goes into your TV, if the connection on the back of your router is smaller than a tv coax cable this product is not for you.
Signal strength . Using my notebook computer I checked the signal strength in various locations. I would change the antennas at each location. I did not notice any difference in signal strength. Using the original small antenna I would move the computer away from the antenna until it went down to 2 bars. Then I put the large antenna on. It remained 2 bars. If there is a difference it would take a more sensitive measuring device to detect it.
SIMPLY DO NOT WORK . Bad money spent, no change in the signal, it might be better to use steel wool on the original antenna. Bad business
Don't waist your money . This antenna is a waist of your money,,I went back to my old 7DBI.The new DBI Antenna may look like it's the real deal but don't be fooled, I ended up using mine for a perch in my bird cage.
