Pretty Cool . This Connectland hub does what it should. The three ports that are not situated next to the others make it more versatile for bulky flash drives. The other four ports along the front are more typical of other hubs. The power supply tip is very small and will not get confused with other items/drives - so that when you move around, you don't accidently use the wrong plug and blow out your portable hard drive circuit boards - "Of course I only heard from others that this happens." I will probably order another one of these. The orange stands out a bit which is pretty cool. It does not have any purposeless bright led lights that get distracting after a while - like some other powered usb hubs.

Works well. . Works just as expected. I had just bought a much cheaper usb hub and that one would not work. So even if its a simple device, its not granted that it works!
The cables for the USB and for the power are long, definitively longer than the average USB hub. Great deal, very happy with it.

Perfect for High Powered Acessories . This suited my needs perfectly. I have a lot of high powered acessories for my gaming PC including a webcam, printer, external HDD, along with gamepads and controllers. Needless to say my computer didn't have enough USB ports for all of them at the same time.
Beyond providing power allowing me to connect more high powered devices it is really nice to have this on my desk with ports so easy to access. It was kinda a pain to have to go to the back of my PC every time I wanted to plug something so it also provides convenient and easy access for things like USB thumbsticks.

works with MAC . have had product one week; seems to work with everything I've hooked up-- IPOD; digital camera, and hard disk back up. If it still works as well 3 months from now, I would give a 5 star.
Seems to work great . I don't have many high power devices on here, but I do use all 6 ports, and it seems to work as advertised. Windows doesn't tell me that I should plug my devices into a USB 2.0 port, so I assume all 6 are working in USB 2.0. No problems whatsoever. Cool design too. What's not to like?
works perfect! . Does exactly what I need it to do. It's small and compact so it doesn't take up any room. So far so good. Been using it for maybe a month or more.
Nice Hub . The usb hub is pretty nice, powerful enough to connect multiple hard drives, keyboard and mouse along with an iphone adapter. The ac adapter is strong enough to charge an iphone while plugged in, but not strong enough to charge an ipad. Thats pretty much the only downside, other than this the adapter if fantastic.
compact and efficient . Unit is compact in size using little desk space. For the first use you will probably need a little patience to allow your computer to read the 'new hardware' which includes not only the hub put also the items plugged into the hub. Upon a later restart, everything appears to be working very well. For an inexpensive initial cost, it does virtually the same tasks I would have wanted from a much more expensive ($100)docking station for my laptop.
USB 2.0 hub review . Very good product and price. My only negative is that there is virtually no info on the product. I realize that this is a very straightforward product and it is just a plug and use device. If you can live with this than I say buy it. The price for an AC powered usb hub is excellent
Cons Review
Unpleasant Experience . This product when I first purchased it work normally and as expected with all my devices. Then after a few days I receive a windows error code 43. This code means a signal from a device was sent to the computer which did not match and produce this error. Now to remove this error there are either 2 possible steps: Uninstall the driver associated with this device (in this case the usb port) and upon reboot this windows will reinstall the driver to the usb port as if nothing happened. The other option is to turn off the computer and unplug the computer (and battery for the laptop) so the system will do a reset for that port.
Well removing this error was not difficult it worked every time and every way i tried. The problem is every time i plug in the usb hub the same problem would occur. After many attempts of trying different ports and different combinations of items plugged into the hub and even trying the hub without its own power supply the results are continuously the same.
The items I have plugged in: wireless logitech mouse, canon printer, inland keyboard, clear wimax modem, logitech webcam, and PNY Flashdrive.
this is the second usb hub I order because I wanted more ports the first one I order is the Medialink - 4-Port High Speed USB 2.0 Mini Hub which it worked before and works now currently with no problems to date.
If using this device do not throw away the packaging which does not allow for returns.
