Works like a charm! . I first purchased D-Link DWA-130 for my desktop and I tried to install it with no success even after speaking with three different customer service rep for hours and returning it for another one.
Third time around, I bought the Belkin Surf & Share and it literally took just 5 minutes to install it to my computer. The set-up is very user-friendly with easy to follow instructions. I had an excellent experience using this product.

Great wireless adapter for a great price . After doing some research, I bought this USB wireless adapter for my desk top. It works great and the set up was quick and easy.
Get what you pay for . Works *exactly* as advertised. No fuss, no muss, right out of the box, works great. No complaints at all on this product.
Belkin Surf & Share Wireless USB Adapters (F7D2101) Reviews
Works with Windows 7 . My Belkin Surf & Share arrived less than 10 minutes ago, and here I am online!
I got a new computer with Windows 7, and though my old Linksys wireless adapter is listed as "compatible" with Windows 7, I could not get it to work. After several attempts at downloading various versions of drivers and trying all the little tricks I found on the blogs and message boards, I was frustrated, had wasted HOURS, and was still no closer to a connection. Finally I saw that someone had suggested the Belkin, saying it worked like a charm with no special handling. I ordered it; it arrived today (a full six days before the "delivery estimate"), and here I am -- surfing and sharing with no hassle whatsoever. I am a happy camper!

Works great! . We have had no problems with this. Worked right away with Windows 7 and I have not had any problems with it. The speed is great.
Cons Review
nightmare . I have an old Belkin G Mimo router hooked up to my wife's Mac. The wireless adapter worked fairly well with my Windows Vista machine, but when I replaced that machine with a Windows 7, I couldn't get any response. So I went out and bought a Belkin Surf & Share for my desktop at a Big Box Store (paid a heck of a lot more than this listed price) and like a fool, I tossed the packaging and receipt. It worked OK for a month or so, but then started disconnecting - repeatedly. I uninstalled and reinstalled the software(driver). I'd get a conection, but the connection was slow at best, and I continued to have "device driver problems." My laptop connected fine so I was pretty sure it wasn't the router. I finally gave up and went to a different box store and purchased a Linksys AE1200. Viola! Couldn't be happier. Fast reliable connection. I was very disappointed and will look at Belkin products with a jaundiced eye in the future.
Iffy reception drops the signal . I bought the WD TV Live Plus [...] along with this Belkin Surf and Share wireless USB adapter thinking that it'd finally allow me to have the wireless media setup I'd wanted for a while. The USB adapter was listed on the WD site as being compatible with the WD TV Live Plus[...], but so far I've found the whole setup to be VERY iffy. I'll try to watch something on Netflix, and it'll work for about 5 minutes and then it'll drop the network connection. I go to wireless settings and tell it to reconnect to my network, and it says it can't even SEE the network. Meanwhile, a laptop is sitting 5 feet away and has 4 or 5 out of 5 signal bars.
Also, while the WDTVLP technically CAN play all sorts of files from media servers (like TVersity), network shares, etc., I've found the performance to be pretty poor. I tried to watch an episode of 30 Rock that I had on my PC which I was sharing via TVersity, and it was constantly pausing, getting out of sync, etc. I did the same thing on my PS3 (streaming the same episode from my PC to the PS3 using TVersity) and it all ran fine.
Because the WD TV Live Plus doesn't have wireless integrated, and instead relies on you to buy your own wireless USB adapter, I think it's way too easy for the companies to pass the buck if you're having issues. Call WD and they'll tell you it's an issue with your USB adapter. Call Belkin and they'll tell you it's an issue with the WD TV Live Plus (or worse yet, your router...even though other computers connect to it fine).
I'll give this 3 stars mainly because I don't know for SURE that it's the Belkin device causing the problems or if it's the WD TV Live Plus. All I know is that I'm not happy with the setup I have going, and the Belkin device is part of that setup.
EDIT: Ended up buying a different USB adapter (...) and plugging it into the WD TV Live Plus. With the other USB adapter, the WD TV Live Plus is working fine. So I can only assume that the issues I was having were due to this adapter. Dropping down to 1 star, since it doesn't work.

Does not work . It kind of connected but could not keep connection and when connected connection was extremely slow despite the four bars showing and very good broadband connection rating. I am running Windows 64 bit ultimate.
Software didn't work . I don't want to be harsh and give one star. Maybe the problem with mine was a freak occurrence. When I tried to install the software, the wizard wanted to install the software over and over again, and I couldn't get rid of the popups; if I tried to abort the repeated installs, it would say that it was not installed due to early termination. Needless to say, after 3 hours of wasted evening time, I could not get it to work. I have an older lower end Belkin usb wireless adapter that works fine, so I'm pretty disappointed in this one. I returned it right away.
Belkin F7d2101 . Quite disappointed with it's performance. I purchased it for my "N" network. It cannot find it, even though the Airport Extreme is only 30 feet away. The built-in wireless "g" on my laptop has a speed of 54mbps. This Belkin's speed is only 32mbps. Another Belkin USB I own is much better, as it Will receive the "N" network.
